Actually she's the negative lead. I can tell this show is going to have the same issue as nazar serial did; fans of the actress playing the vamp being adamant that the vamp is the lead of the show just because she was shown in the promos first and more than the actual leads, but this isn't the case. There's a difference between the leads, which are usually the protagonists, and the native lead who is the main antagonist. The negative lead is not THE lead of the show.

I don't know about Shrenu fans but seeing the promo any neutral person will think that the story will revolve around Shrenu's character even if the character is negative. She will get the maximum screenspace unless of course the trp is not satisfactory and the story is changed.
Jennifer was the clearly the lead in beyadh...the story revolved around her and it was a love story with an obsession element ..so she got all the scenes of a heroine ,.ROMANCE,, DRAMA , action. Actually her role was like shahrukhs role in baazigar...a villain hero..so maya was a villain heroine...but there's no doubt that srk was the lead in baazigar and Jennifer the lead in beyadh. And regarding sanjh...Aneri was really bad in beyadh...so even though she was a positive character...her voice and acting and chemistry with the male lead ... were all not up to mark..so people were not impressed..I don't think Aneri is female lead material...she's fine to be a side character or second to the female lead. .. it's the same in silsila ...look at tejus acting and screen presence ..She's clearly got what it takes to be a female lead..Originally posted by: jasminerahul
