Then on next episode they should've shown AU with invisible narrator opening AU with "That was RU Shivika's ishqbaaazi let's imagine an AU where Shivika didn't meet at the temple".

Instead of some random Dr.Awasthi having power to take Shivika back in time it just totally disregarded the RU plus the worse thing was killing Shivika of that too in such waythey should've shot Shivika dying together. Shivaay got shot in the heart once & died he didn't call out Annika😭

After showing 2 years of Love ishqbaaazi there comes prof.Awasthi to ridicule love like seriously dude😡

Leap did change a lot of things...and on top of its failure made only things worse...I think it hit the EGOs of the makers that fans won and that their grand so called 'LEAP' failed to generate TRPs and also the online fan base and the craze that SHIVIKA had...

@bold...that irked me a lot, a lot more than the news about LEAP and Shivika death .. the shivika who were shown as epitome of love, died in a way that just doesn't justify their journey or their characters...

Some times I wonder, is HS the same writer who said she lives SHIVIKA ? Is that what you do your fav characters ? Gosh I can never doing that to my fav characters if I were a writer...anyways the less I talk about HS and GUL, the more its better...😡

Gul was trying to save face with her comments about the leap not impacting TRP. That was not the whole truth. The truth was that Star Plus didn't cancel the show based on TRP but online viewership. DIB was cancelled more or less immediately after the online viewership dropped post Surbh's departure (January but probably during December's filming).

I wouldn't be surprised if after the disaster that was Ishaqbaaz's leap, Gul isn't allowed by a channel to do this again. She took a show that was regularly averaging in the top 5 viewed shows (both online and TV viewers) and basically killed it with an illogical AU storyline.

Additionally, Gul's public comments were an embarrassment; and you can already see her (perhaps being forced) to keep quiet about her other shows and stars.

Her telling journalists that Surbhi wasn't the lead (and the three brothers were) was ridiculous considering she and Nakuul were the main reasons for viewers to even watch the show on fast forward. Her comments about Surbhi's weight when she looked slimmer than Shrenu, Maansi, Niti and Nakuul for the majority of the show, were also incredibly poorly thought out. I imagine that's why a lot of Surbhi's friends stopped following Gul on SM too.
