When accusations happened ek ladki was on the verge of the release so removing his name wasn't a big deal as he was credited just as one of the co producers. I doubt he had put any money in it most likely lended his name for credibility

funny thing is this whole thing started because of tanushree but I don't believe her. She might believe in her own story but I don't think that's how or what happened but her story did encourage others to come forward

^ In India one needs powerful people as prop when s/he needs to fix the damaged image. So yeah he needs the Ambanis. The notion that Ambanis trust him will make the aam aadmi trust him again.
