So Sara's Kartik jhaap was PR thing for love aaj kal 2, which karan also hinted in the episode and when karan asked sara about her and kartik's status, she said i cannot hear u.😆

My two favourites- Kriti and Karthik...Woohooo...

Kriti is such a star in the making. So much screen presence...she literally commands all attention in any room...So gutsy the way she took a dig at AliaKjo. 😆 He didnt know where to look...:)

And like another member said, Karthik is like a young Akki with all the girls after him. Both future superstars. Eat your hearts out Aliakjo stans who call them B-Listers.

The difference in Karan's demeanor was so obvious in today's episode. He was so like "karke hataao" type. He usually appears to be so interested and cautious when talking to insiders. And today he just seemed in a hurry as if doing a formality. I think he just called them because of the nepo hype. Also that Kartik-Ananya thing he kept repeating started getting on my nerves after a while 🥱

As on the episode, it was boring no doubt. Kartik seemed really desperate to me honestly, too conscious of making a particular image. Hope it doesn't backfire on him just like Ranbir. On that nepotism question, he first started well but later when he tried to justify and all, I could actually see him licking KJo's ass 😆 (I have a feeling he's going to end up like Sid)

As far as Kriti is concerned, it was nice to see a recent actress not running around kjo like a little pup.

She held her own throughout the episode and I admire her for that.

However, I do have to say that acting wise both have a long way to go. People like them because they are fresh faces and are a good change from the usual nepo brigade but they really need to up their games. Good looks can only take you so far in today's times when we see talent is getting more recognition. Because of course, they don't have "mentors" to back them up even if their careers/talents are zilch.

P. S. Didn't appreciate the way Karan so off-handedly commented that "Who said there was chemistry between you and Sushant in Raabta?" of course with his constipated expression. I haven't seen the movie and neither am I planning to but there's something called etiquette. Kriti was obviously taken aback but she gracefully handled that shit. He wouldn't have pulled it off with some other star. See? this is the difference in demeanor I am talking about!

I really liked the episode. I saw the entire thing because I was really intrigued to see how Karan treats two (complete) outsiders.

I love Kriti! I think this episode seals the deal for me. I have always liked her, but she really held her own here. I was taken aback during the promo as to how Karan didn't do his research on Kriti's past especially when he did it on Karthik. I love how she made it a point to say yes, she is also an engineer and of course completed her degree. I think Karan should double check his facts, you can't call yourself an engineer without getting a degree. lol..Also, loved her answer to how insiders have an edge. She was gutsy enough to call a spade, a spade. KJo's reaction was as if he had no idea what she was talking about..probably because he may actually not know the struggle is indeed real for outsiders. Karthik on the other hand was diplomatic with that same question. I like how Kriti didn't backtrack her answer upon hearing Karthik's. Kriti also stands out as educated. There is something in her demeanor and mannerisms that goes with her background. She's also a nice dancer..she clearly knew what she was doing in that dancing segment.

I really liked Karthik too. He isn't that confident as Kriti..I felt it was kind of evident in this episode, but I still like him. I don't like how this Sara and Ananya saga is overshadowing everything else about him. It seems as if that's the only thing that Karan wanted to promote in this episode. I have seen a lot of Karthik's interviews, and the guy certainly has had a struggle. I wasn't too impressed with him in the Lukka Chuppi trailer, but I hope he goes far. The fact that he's an outsider and is getting all this limelight is great and refreshing even if it's slightly annoying with the Sara/Ananya drama.

It's unbelievable how these two have been around for 6-7 yrs (or more) and are only truly getting the limelight now...whereas the Saras, Ananyas, and Jhanvis are all over the news 24/7 even without releases. Glad Kriti said something about that. I hope she goes far as well.

I agree with you. karan lacks respect for outsiders until they make it big. I have noticed this with kriti, parineeti among the new actress lot. I have noticed it with deepika and priyanka too before they became big.

Kriti talked about getting less opportunity as an outsider and talked about the scarcity in good films. and some people act like alia doesnt get better films because of kjo association 😆

it is totally unfair to compare alia to any one. so ppl can rank her above all her contemporaries all they want but comparing just becomes irrevelant in her case now
