Perfectly put. Just found this on FB today. Why we need to be politically aware and not brush off everything under the carpet saying we are apolitical.

You know frankly speaking all that applies to "general public" .. it's their struggle, they have to face consequences of the above mentioned issues! ... Stars living in their "skyscrapers" don't think give a damn what happens to "cost of living" or "inflation" .. they are too comfortable in their cushioned corner to even think beyond their apolitical stand! .. they go where they see benefits ... Apolitical yet paparazzi session with Modi becoz it's "Beneficial" .. They simply don't CARE much!

So we have come to such a situation where people can't even express their political stands and ideologies without thinking about the team and the film? So we are basically encouraging political goons to keep on doing what they did with Padmaavat and other films? And then people mock Shahrukh, Aamir and Naseer for feeling unsafe in the country and call it intolerant!

And the fact that the Azaadi song is EXACTLY against this kind of fascism.

I can't believe we have accepted and normalized intolerant mob behaviour to this extent that it's fine to keep quiet just so that goons don't hole up and start tod phod of properties.

I'm going to bump this thread everytime now the forum makes fun of 'anti nationals' who call the country intolerant.

Your example holds no water (re: Aamir) cause Aamir and all the other Superstars took pics with Modi too. ***************look it up.
Did you ask THEM to discuss anti-Modi stuff when Promoting TOH, ZERO and so on? No.
Also: all BW has done it.
You seem to be only interested in asking RS and Aloo to have that moral spine, for a reason.😕
Like AAMIR< AKSHAY et all can be 'pally' with Modi and take pics NUMEROUS times... never Spoke AGAINST him when their movies promoted.. but somehow you forgot to ask the SUPERSTARS.. and ask Ranveer.. you forgot to ask RK? And Sanjay? Al the ladies..and others.. riiight.

Also: I took pics with all my teachers ADN SMILED.. even when I took pic with a teacher I dislike or WE DIDN'T see EYE TO EYE. Cause that's the POLITE thing to do.
SO what?

Sad. That's contradicting his facist image.

People tend to ignore the fact that Aamir Khan has a long history of hatred towards the PM. In 2005, he signed a public petition against the then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and hauled against the then PM Manmohan Singh for criticising the US Visa ban on NM. In the following year, he was vocal against NM over Narmada Dam construction. In 2014, however, he requested a meeting with the PM and handed him DVDs of Satyamev Jayate.
Needless to say, the PM never responded to the vitriol and welcomed AK without malice.

OMG - how many movies against the establishment or with songs similar to Azadi have there been?>?

THOUSANDS.😆
yet only NOW you 'AWAKE' to ask actors to stand for whatever is in their movie?
Not every actor is political. They have that right, too.

I rather actors did acting.. and political activists did the activism.

You don't ask - or follow his words- Modi or other politicians to comment on artistic merits/acting - why? cause they aren't freaking actors.😆

Not everyone's Kangana or Akshay to have BJP back-up.😉
