Not every actor/actress is after box office opening and what not. People have different goals in life. Sonam knows her strengths and she is using those pretty well.

This forum is very funny. When it is Ranveer being discussed they say he doesn't have star power without Dp . When it is Dp being discussed she doesn't have star power and Ranveer is responsible. If cocktail had Saif then didn't that movie of Kangu that bombed have Saifu and Shahid. Also I remember people saying Paddu will bomb now that it is a success when it was banned in 4 states people have changed the narrative

Sonam seems very sorted after marriage, and I don't think she is even looking at increasing her 'star-power', whatever that means nowadays. It is pretty much evident now that the story is key and there are a lot of factors that go into making a film a hit. One can no longer ride the coattails of a 'superstar' and expect the film to be a super-hit.

God these star power based comparisons are useless. Star power has lost its power and now content and wom play bigger roles. Anyone can give a hit if the film is good and acting is at par or if it is xx rated 😆

Madhuri, Sridevi (in their prime) also did not act in solo movies. Their movies always had some male leads. So Sonam and Kangana are bigger stars than Madhuri and Sri in their prime.
