Exactly. This was how it was always supposed to be. Kunal was always supposed to realize his feelings for Mauli, even after Nandini happened. Maunal were always the end game.

Exactly @Mages I agree she is a doctor who has seen many deaths but she prayed for this stranger because she got attracted toward him. Kunal pulled her toward him.
Her prayers and love for him was strong enough to bring him back. He was destined to live for Mauli and only Mauli. Now Mishti, Pari, Dida, and Maa are connected to him through Mauli. He cannot leave her as he is meant to be with her. Even if he wants to leave her for her happiness, he won't be able to do so because his true love is Mauli.I really want Kunal to repent and give Mauli all the love and respect she deserves. These six years have been really hard for her.

Also pari told mauli ki mere buddy humesha apni promise fulfil karte hain..he did promise Mauli he will choose her again even if he met nandini. He kept that promise..fought death and came back when mauli called instead of giving in and going to nandini. He chose Mauli over nandini and was holding on so tight to her duppatta like he will never let go.
