Mahir is just really observant and really paying attention to detail here👏👏. He can detect that there is something wrong with Bella and her mother. Despite everything that Bella put him through. He is still willing to help Bella to overcome her problem with her mother.

Now that Mahir is helping Bella with her Math studies. He will somehow has the upper hands and can leave room to negotiate. Bella needs Mahir after all.

Okay coming to the whole chapter. Ash the way you described Bela's anger in the start and then her frustration in the end because of the exams was perfectly on point! I liked the ending, basically Mahir is trying to change the games and bring things under control? It would be interesting to see the ball in Mahir's court😃
