Yea that's probably why. 😆 I have read the Greek and Egyptian series. I have also read the crossover short stories between Percy/Ann and Carter/Sadie (Kane Chronicles characters). Somehow I couldn't get into the Magnus Chase series much which is based on Norse mythology. There is another series called Trials of Apollo where the god Apollo is turned into a human by Zeus as a punishment. Haven't had the chance to read that one yet. And here I thought Norse was the same as Roman mythology.😆
Yes the short stories are good. I read the Demigod files and now I'm reading Luke's Diary. Gosh I loved that guy, negative character or not. JKR never made me love the negative characters or feel sad when they die. Rick wins here. Luke, Silena, Iapetus...
I would like to read Trials of Apollo, though I read somewhere Jason would die in that series
😒
I thought so too. But I guess the story doesn't require more than that. Yes it's completed. Oooh I remember reading Iliad in high school. It was good but also confusing. Sometimes, It was hard understanding old school English. Have you read Shakespeare?
Alright I'll read it then.
We never had to study Iliad or any non-Indian mythology in school. Nope, no Shakespeare. In school, we only had a couple of acts from Julias Caesar. His English doesn't even sound like English!😆 I hope I'll have better luck with The Iliad since it also has translations by some Robert Fagles guy.
