ETA: I understand that some people think this is a genuine love relationship and that's their opinion. But even they have to see how they are milking this for publicity and PR.

Agree with most of what you said, but it's interesting how RK, with the lack of personal social media, gets away with all his PR flaunting and posturing. All the pap strolls and the 100 family hum-saath-saath-hain pics floating on IG and elsewhere prominently involve his parents and other family. Alia's side has been far more low-key except for the time they called paps to capture Ranbir and Mahesh Bhatt talking near her house window 😆Alia does the more public gushing of the two, but behind the scenes, it looks like Ranbir's team is promoting this relationship to curate RK's image and probably a little for the upcoming movie buzz.

Why would anyone agree to marry just because parents are not well? Marriage is not any medicine. Nor life is a film where one should pressurise children to get married as some kind of 'Ichha' nonsense.

some people do agree to get married coz their parents are ill, this may not be the case with rk and alia, but it does happen

i agree that it shudn't happen that way, marriage is something that shud be whole heartedly the girl and boys decision, but some parents do put that pressure on their kids, or the kids themselves sometimes decide to do it just for their parents
