How many years will it take in making? I don't think she will commit to a project that requires such prolonged time.

As much as love Deepika the Indian beauty I just can't imagine her fit as the fierce Draupadi, she just doesn't have that kind of intensity.
PC or Vidya will be a better fit. Again Vidya is getting older so don't know who else...

I don't think it's a wise idea for any known/established names to commit to a project that's going to span the next 8/10 years. None from the current crop of actors would come forward to make this hell of a commitment. Even from the maker's perspective it's better to rope in new, fresh, young talent/faces who are willing to sign a legally binding contract inclusive of all the necessary clauses.

You must that one scene in BM with the child if you think Deepika can't do intense.

Radhika apte could be good fit. Deepika has done too many period films but this role would need someone with pro level acting chops not just looking good n dancing. Priyanka, Rani,Radhika or even Vidya might fit.

I would love to see Sonakshi as Draupadi. She is such a typical Indian beauty and delivers her dialgoues really well. But too bad, all her films flop.

Deepika is a big fail in period movies...Rani Padmavati ho y Mastani...same glassy eyed and bland expressions..zzz...Draupadi was a fierce queen...there are too many shades to her...Good that Deepu refused...she should go for characters like Piku and Meenama...those are her strong points...not historical and mythological characters.
