I hope we will get a JenShad performance on Mere naam tu! Uff I know Im imagining and thinking too much! But kya karoon ajkal yehi dono sawaar hain sar par 😆

Always had a feeling jenshad are going to be performing in ITA. Remember during the sabras radio IV harshad had said that he youtubed himself to show his friend how he dances, Nd then he went on to say that he is learning a dance on dheere dheere se..

@rabia,varuni its easy to tell IT industry is not good. Understand one thing.if ur able to sit and type like this and interact with people whom u have not seen u owe it to IT industry. Ur SM u owe it to this industry. Ur mobile phone, data connection, uber, irctc, internet banking to every little thing that has brought comfort to u or reduced ur work it is because this industry is there and someone is working there. Most important an industry that gave women more say in their lives, build their confidence, opened more than million direct and indirect jobs, which redefined india's position in world economic map don't tell u hate it. Because if u really hate it don't use the facility it has given u. I come from that industry yes like every industry has its flaws but then I am happy that i worked there as it was a good experience. And please don't mould ur children on what they should do. Give them enough choice so that they can choose what they want. This one think I am thankful to my parents. In a heavy patririachial community where girls were either teachers or bank clerks they allowed their daughter to study technology to be an engineer. They didn't put their opinion on me and because of that even today I stand with independent thoughts

Agree with every-thing, esp the part in bold. my parents too always let us choose what we wanted to do (i come from a middle-class, conservative family, even then..) personally and professionally and this is the best thing they could do for me and my siblings. Also, generalising is never good IMO. There are pluses and minuses every-where.

@rabia no industry is good or bad. It's what u want to do. IT industry is still good if u have a passion for technology. It's still the largest employer in India. IT service industry will lack creativity, product company allows u to explore. I was in service industry my bro is in product company. What skills my generation needed is not what u need now. Unfortunately our college syllables is still not tuned to this industry. If u have good certification in big data, internet of things or iot, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, robotics u will have a good career. Our industry expects constant upgradation of knowledge. If u have any questions on IT u can pm me. I have worked in that industry for 14 yrs.

I am not hating people who work in it dear .but somehow I don't like IT ...yes all these technology made us more connected ..thanks for that to IT

Even gals were doctors before IT came ..half of the doctors are women ..even in banking more women .only in civil and mechanical gals were less and there's a reason for it ..I can unDERSTAND u r concern ..since u cane ftom patriarchal set up

BUT my family r liberal from past one generation .,so I don't think about that much and may be I can't understand also ..

I don't want my children to chose engineering or technology ..I know it's kind of imposing ..that's why I try to develop interest for them in other areas medical commerce etc

I know it's wrong but I can't help it

Tomorrow in spite al my efforts if they chose eng or IT I will leave up to them though I will express my displeasure

I have voted with every mail id I have. Now what to do. @pollywarn didn't IT give u enough financial security in 12 yrs to start something of my own. I also took a break to follow my passion but i am thankful to IT industry for giving me financial freedom to do so.
