My thoughts are,
Kunal genuinely felt guilt that Cos of him girls had to go through a lot..
He also questioned Mauli on what he told to Mishti about their relationship Cos he doesn't want his chances zero and Ofc he does feel for her.
Ishaan's decision of not making them both meet and staying away is the dumbest ever, Cos running away from an issue, it will get more to you.
Also Ishaan's insecurity is seen somewhere, like he was holding her hand but when Kunal said our daughters, he left her hand..
Then gave that decision so somewhere the decision is to be about insecurity..
Kunal's mom caring for Pari is normal Cos , after all she is a mom and wants to help him
Then coming to Nandini ka voice echoing to Mauli, and Mauli being herself going to any limits in friendship is her, though it will harm her, but she will do!

I thought there was symbolism in the precap in the form of mauli's pallu catching on fire and Kunal putting it out on time...idk maybe im reading too much into it.

Abt the rest of the episode- interesting take, Madhura...I do agree with a lot of it. I think they're gradually and slowly milking out the plot...and it's working but fans have to be patient and they're not ready to be...
