why must she copy katrina's accent? divyanka has her own distinct style of imitating a so called 'british' accent.

divyanka has been brought up in india so her 'british' accent in the serial is definitely going to be very different from someone who was really brought up in england.

there's no use in saying her brit accent is not perfect cos let's face it, it'll never be. that's the way it is going to be.😊

like reemu said, kat doesn't have a british accent. you want to hear a real british accent from a young lady, go watch emma watson in harry potter.😊

sweet candy, i agree with you. i think divs has a got a good command of the english language. her english is slightly hindi accented but it's good nonetheless. divyanka's efforts are commendable!👏👏

^Thats exactly what ive been trying to say to those who say that D should see Katrina in NL. If Katrina herself doesnt have a Brit accent then how can you even comment on Divz' accent. Katrina is not British!

So many people have been harping about Katrina's so called British accent....WHAT British accent are you talking about!!!!???? 😕 I have personally spoken to Katrina and she DOES NOT have a British accent. So I guess I should thanking you all who have mentioned Katrina becoz you have only justified that fact that one can be born and brought up in the UK and not have a British accent.

And let me not start commenting about linguistics.

Divyanka is doing a phenomenal job as Divya. I think some people are totally missing the point.....The emphasis should not on Divya's accent but on the difference between Vidya and Divya and Divyanka brings across this differentiation impeccably 👏 😳 😃

by the way katrina is British. he father is britain and mother is half indian i think
