Sab log First day first show dekh kar aana. I dont think even the British are that crazy about their royal family today. They want to be rid of the freeoading lazy leeches. But here it's a whole different story.

Haaye Saif ka beti...Amrita Singh ka beti...haaye haaye ...muah..muah...
If Shahrukh or Madhuri's kids debut, I can till understand their craze. I am not on board with it but still I can understand. But here people have such devotion for star kids like Chunky Pandey's kids even...🤪

Yuck. Are Indians people worshippers or what.

Watch a byte of Sara to get a glimpse of her. No one cares for Amirta or Saif much here. They are average. She is special. Ppl like her bcos they liked her not bcos of her parents. Ananya too looked pretty so i can understand. They hype is only for Jahnvi as a starkid.

IMO education ( not just having a degree for the sake of it ) is most important but yes it would make sense for someone going to run a family business to have a degree in business so that it will help them in future , nevertheless it still is better to have education than not having any at all .

since when acting degree is a requirement of BW debut? & how non-relevant degrees are lame? Many successful entrepreneurs, politicians don't even have degrees relevant to their field. There are so many success stories even without degrees too. But mocking someone's education & career choice is uncalled for. Most of the Indians are forced to be engineer or doctor. I know many who are not passionate about their degree & switched to entrepreneurship. It doesnt make their degree lame in anyway.
Anyway Soha is well educated too, very well spoken & likeable. Haven't followed Sara but her education & degree won't be waste too.
& this shelf life is plain BS now. Look at Deepika, she got married & doesn't give a damn of doing ten movies per year. People may call it waste of time, but its what make her happy. I dont think people now care to debut opposite 50+ khans when they are 17/18 & do 100 movies before 30. Things changed. Accept it or not.

Wow! People are going round and round and purposely missing my point. I've addressed all of your queries in my posts.

Heroines have a shorter shelf life! Deal with it!

you're privileged from film family will never use your degree not for job not for anything else either. If tomorrow you decide to be an entrepreneur or anything related to business you can take courses specifically designed for that and many do, no need to waste four years

Privileged star kids can't be compared with non star kids and aam janta. They'll use their degree but not star kids

You don't need a degree to be confident or intelligent. No it doesn't come from there not for these people anyway and even if it does it's a wrong way to go about it

If the plan is to be a heroine not a director then yes you've wasted those years for a degree you'll never use because your dad wanted to or you can tell the world you're a graduate in so and so

Saif is full of bull with his backup story

As I said it'll never be used in that context

Now she might know something's because of her degree which might come handy someday? Who knows but that's not how you go about it

I'm not gonna waste four years to get some degree when I know as soon my education is over I'm going in a different field where I won't need this degree + I'm financially set for life + even movies don't work I still won't have a need to use so called degree

This is just stupid

This is not about not getting educated.

you don't realize that these days information is available freely and you can get educated in any subject you wish to, it's not rocket science!

this is all in context of being a privileged filmy stat, never using her degree, wanting to become a heroine in an indian film industry!

also the topic wasn't about her education but about people being surprised at her getting 3 movies

Like Sara, there are many other actors also who have got movies because of Nepotism right from the beginning. Sara is not the first.
Since the point of her education being useless was mentioned in the OP, I for one who respects education and my books feel highly offended because I was brought up in a family where my mom told me like Books and Knowledge is equal to God and one should love and respect it. Calling it useless is insulting.

I remember my relative who used to make fun of us because my mom studied law and I studied engineering as they were drop outs from school and from beginning they were brought up with the mindset that they want to make big money by working as waiters on a ship. The problem is not their job but their way of mocking education and considering it useless. Like them, other people from villages also feel that what's the point of sending their children to school when they will become skilled laborers and daughters only need to do jhadoo-pocha and cook.

Whether a person is a non-celeb or celeb, it does not matter. Their graduation may or may not be useful and there should be no excuse given as to why education is even necessary. I feel ashamed and embarrassed even talking about its requirement to people who might be educated themselves. A person never WASTES his time studying.

On top, acting is a freelance job and not a permanent one. Today or tomorrow, these actors don't get work and open their own production houses or join as a director. Why should they be illiterates to pursue a freelance job? Unfortunately, this is a mindset of many actors and even struggling actors who drop out from schools and colleges to become an actor. Child actors leave their education as they start earning more than their parents and parents support them for doing that.

Also, not only actors, even cricketers and especially politicians disrespect education and are all drop-outs and that's why there are so many problems when it comes to the management of our country. That's not even considered a requirement which is a big joke.

There can be 10000000 reasons for not getting educated while no reason for doing so and I respect those who choose to WASTE their time and complete their graduation 👍🏼

So for Jhanvi u agree abt nepotism but for Sara u dont agree? Why? because her 2nd movie is with your favorite actor? 😆
Both Jhanvi and Sara are products of Nepotism who got 2-3 movie offers readymade served to them on a platter...Sara's case is even worse because she got 3 movies even before debut

Its funny how everything is generalised here. Just because they are star kids it doesnt mean their degree is waste. What if Sara's acting career doesn't work. U don't just work for money. U work to be self sufficient n independent. Of course marrying a hotshot is going to maintain a specific lifestyle but that's not all what most ppl need. Whether star kids come in that bracket or not cannot be judged, no matter how 'privileged' they are. U are not them.
I respect actors who complete their education before being sucked into glitz n glamour as a formal education is like a lifelong treasure. And with regards to the so called shelf life, she has plenty of time to make a mark until her time is over.
Doing a short term course is definitely not equivalent to getting a degree which is far more superior in every aspect as it teaches u much more about life as well. It can be anything but 'useless'.
Not everyone can be Modi or Steve Jobs. Stop trivialising the value of education.

Its great that Sara completed her education before joining movies, at least she wont say dumb stuff like Alia does. She would know who is the President of India 😆
The very fact that she can speak well and gives good interviews shows how education helped her develop as a person. Rest I will decide after watching Kedarnath if shes worthy of getting 3 movie offers all at once before proving her acting.
