So its clear. Dd quit becz of leap and role of mother. To be honest age have nothing to do here its personal choice.. shweta played grandmothers role in kasuti.. i remember additi gupta playing mother of 6 year old child when she was 20 year old in kis desh mein hai meraa dil. Anyways let it be

Okay i m not happy if drashti left the show becoz she don't want to be mother .Last time she didn't want to play mother of 20 yr old gal it was understandable but she can atleat play a role of 5 yr old kid but then it's career and her choice.But one thing is cleared from interview leap was not preplanned it was introduced by producers and writers according to make fans happy.

I knew it was because she didn't want to play a mother. Yet a certain someone today was accusing people on the forum for being the cause of drashti quitting because of the hate her character was getting. 😆 Clearly that person thinks very poorly of DD to think that she would quit over a character being bashed. Now it has been confirmed straight from the producer's mouth. I watched ETRETR and I remembered this was also why she chose to quit the show, so I that's why when i read the TC article yesterday saying this is why she's quitting silsila I knew this was the case.

If you are talking about me then i never said that hatred lead to quitting of her show i said ppl forgot difference bw real and reel and bashed her for getting justice 4 fictional character.But i never said she quitted because of backlash .I said she quitted becoz her character was reduced to show piece to tell story of mauli.And i was right producers statement showed that story was changed to make viewers happy and leap was not narrated to actors before otherwise if DD hv problem in playing mother she would not hv signed the show in first place.Secondly i think there is more than reason of her quitting one is she doesn't want to play mother and may be she didn't like her character post leap .Actors don't leave the show just for one reason.In ETr2 things were different she was asked to pay mother of 20 yr old her quiting show was understandable but here she has play a mother of 6 yrs old i m not happy if this is the only reason 4 her quitting but then it's her career and choice.

I can assure you people are talking about someone else here and not you. I clearly remember someone taking a dig at "Mauli fanantics" for DD quitting this show & you were not that person dear. So, be assured, no one is referencing to you here.

Nice article. If she is gone there's no need to dissect the reasons. Good luck to her. Must say this producer sounds very nice and respectful towards his actors.
