#MeToo movement: Top casting agents Mukesh Chhabra and Vicky Sidana accused of sexual harassment

Bollywood's top casting agents Mukesh Chhabra and Vicky Sidana were accused of sexual harassment by two aspiring actresses each. The allegations re-visit the stories of alleged "casting couch" but with names this time. Chhabra had apologised to one of the actresses when she resisted saying that he thought she was okay with it since everybody else was.
In the long list of alleged sexual offenders, the latest ones are top casting agents Mukesh Chhabra and
Vicky Sidana who have been accused of sexual harassment.
Out of the four separate incidents listed in a tabloid, one of the budding actresses who went for an audition in 2015 revealed that Mukesh Chhabra grabbed her hard and felt her up. She reportedly said that he asked her to enact a scene which had the hero and the heroine hugging each other. Under the pretext of showing her how the scene should be performed, Mukesh grabbed her hard and felt her up. The actress could feel his hand on my butt. She said that she was shell-shocked and immediately withdrew. Mukesh reportedly realised her trepidation and started vehemently apologising. At one point, he told the budding actress that he thought she was fine with it because other girls are. Post this, she moved away from the world of glamour and chose engineering as her career.
One more artiste shared that she was asked to compromise by Mukesh over a phone conversation. In the recording, Mukesh can be heard saying that she will have to compromise, get physical with people in power. Mukesh added that he doesn't promise that people ready to compromise get selected, but still everyone is ready to compromise and it's no big deal. He further brought up the topic of meeting at a hotel that night.
Another aspiring actress opened up about a horrific incident with Vicky Sidana, where the casting agent groped her sister. She recounted that Vicky was espousing wisdom on how she won't get offers if she doesn't offer sex. When she stepped out for a photoshoot, Vicky got chatting with her sister. The actress said that he then pushed her on the couch and squeezed her breast, all the while asking her why doesn't she want to be an actress. When the actress heard about it, she swore she would never see his face again.
Another actress recounted her story and said Vicky invited her over to his house to discuss a project and sexually harassed her. She said that the role in question needed her to have a pixie cut. He pulled her hair away from her face to see how she would look in short hair. Then, he grabbed her from the side and tried to hug her. The actress said she could feel his genitalia press against thigh. The actress further said that she somehow managed to run out.
