Hai Friends
Solhah Singaar is getting interesed by the character done by our prince.Visit that forum.

Gaurav is planning to take revenge of his enemys by taking over their business and house.
As his name is Shiv Chopra in the serial he says that after taking over his enemy's house,he will call it "CHOPRA COTTAGE".

"CHOPRA COTTAGE"sounds nice hai na

yes Uma, you are right... solhah singaar is getting interesting...I forgot to fast forward the scenes in which Gaurav was not present onscreen... so that itself is enough of proof that I got involved....

saw two episodes, 25th and 26th... few observations...
there is a difference in approach definitely from trishul and baazigar.... Shiv is intense but less than big B and more than SRK ... voice is reminiscent of Big B in few dialogues (i dont think that can be helped )... but otherwise most of the times its Gaurav...
appearance is quite interesting... dressed in black in both the episodes...
there was a softer emotional side of Shiv while watching Shagun praying.... and when he said she reminded him of his mother...not overtly visibly emotional but just by a little play and modulation in voice..
and in one scene when he was shouting that he wont even let them die...he exhibited another aspect of Shiv that he is just a stubborn, hurt, angry kid inside , all set to take revenge... and shouting..." main nahin doonga, main nahin doonga..." this dialogue could also be said in serious intense tone... which is Shiv most of the times... but the way it was said like a shouting, angry boy... I liked that... another layer was very well highlighted..this time quite visibly expressive through facial expressions, and voice...
and there is another layer... he is sitting in the car and thinking about the family being devastated by their own daughter-in-law...and he thinks that he knows that this is not good and justified but then the others are also not justified...I was also thinking throughout the episode why this lady is supporting other man to devastate her own in-laws ( I personally cannot justify this, whatever might be the reason... besides I dont know complete story) ... so I liked that side of Shiv where he knows that daughter-in-law should not be going against the family ...

in LRL chemistry between Aakriti and Abhimanyu is getting interesting... I liked that Gym scene a lot... although its quite stupid of aakriti to challenge every man for arm wrestling... but the scene was very interesting...

Hai friends
Here is a message from our prince to U all

"i hvnt spoken to a single press guy abt ss. for me its an experiment.i only wanted to do it coz it was so typical and i wanted to try and b my 'unconventional' self and do it differently..
i dont worry abt it lookin good or the performance getting claps..i just want to stretch myself and do it in a way that is different 4m the 1st visual/ thought in my head.ive tried 2 put shades and layers to a very typical monochromatic character..
now only time will tell whether it works.."

Thanks a lot Uma for sharing this message....

and for Gaurav.... well, if you have taken it as an experiment... I would say, well done !... Its been immense pleasure watching you doing this role.... and as for your efforts, yes they are visible onscreen... As of now, its going great.... keep up the good work... all the best!

Me, getting invloved with SS... back with few observations about 27th and 28th episodes...
while the prominent shade of the character is negative... most of the times hatred is expressed in neutral tone... thats, what I find,unconventional....
In most of the scenes background is dark... and attire is also black... thats working well as the viewer can only concentrate on the face and hears only one voice..

there were some fine touches, i liked, at few places...............devastating the enemies... but not overtly expresssive about the victory...very unsympathetic and cold blooded look in the eyes and a neutral face stating " aaj meri maa zinda hoti to bahut khush hoti..."
another play with the voice... stating.." sar ki chatt...etc etc"... adding intensity only in voice...
great variation in expression from the start to end of the scene stating very conventional, stereotyped dialogues to maa.......and a slight wicked smile at the thought of another victory of grabbing their house...

and in 28th episode plot has become completely captivating...
as Shiv reveals that he has killed Dushyant ( I dont know who dushyant is )... another layer of being a cold blooded murderer... but without any conventional high pitched voice and without overtly expressive eyes ... in short experimenting with every conventional dialogue... while the character is intense but no major play in voice confessing the crime of the murder...stating in a plain voice revealing how cold blooded he can be for his revenge... while this remains the most prominent shade of the character, others come and go ...

as i wrote in my last post , how can main protagonist, a positive female lead, go against the family.... there is a twist in the tale...lady is only pretending to support him .... me looking forward to how Shiv and Shagun deal with each other...
Shvetal... won't there be any summer holidays this year?!
