beautiful ending...yes what Arnav said to her MIL was rude but anyone would loose their mind seeing how she was lashing out at Khushi, without letting her explain. Esp since the person knew Khushi's side of the truth. Shyam was an idiot to confess it to her, I wonder what Khushi wouldve done, had he refused to own up the abortion thing.

Any ways, all well's thats ends well... Her Ma (yes now she is her Ma, as she understood her pain) gave them the much needed permission and they got happily married with a baby on its way. It was lovely to read that... Though I would've loved to read something about Anjali in the epilogue, maybe how happy she is at Khushi's baby shower ceremony, happy with how Arnav-Khushi are together.

It is a testament to Khushi's strength of character that she is able to look beyond the selfishness of her Maa. While we all, on the face of it, accept that when a person shows genuine remorse, they should be allowed to atone for their mistakes, it takes a special person to actually practice that.

Kudos also to Arnav to share their home with Maa. He truly does understand and love his Khushi, doesn't he. Anything for her khushi!

Thank you for this story, Rose. Society is so judgemental and most people are inherently selfish. We seek to tie people in the name of love. To bind them within our definition of love. The emphasis remains on the "I" of 'I love you'. The "you" gets lost somewhere.

I'm going to quote one of my favourite lines... is one too utopian... is the other too cynical? You choose :)

Awesome as usual.

thanks god shyam had be punished ,the good heart of Khushi only sees beautiful things in a person, so she only remembers the beautiful memories of her childhood with her maa

Loved the chapter and the ending👏

Maa redeemed herself by giving Khushi freedom for her happiness.

Forgiving Khushi towards her maa with Arnav always supporting his Khushi.

Beautiful story about love against society perceptions.

Lovely ending. I am sad that the story has finished but it also means freedom to Khushi from unnecessary relationships. So, I am happy.

Finally it is Arnav's outburst or should I say Shyam's over confidence which brought Maa in front of her son's reality. I am glad she understood the enormity of his acts. It is necessary.

She asked to get Shyam punished. Good. I think that punishment was for both Shyam and his father. Arnav and Khushi got married and expecting a baby girl. What a fitting end to the story.

Thanks for the pm. A very beautiful story came to an end though you rushed it at there end.

Beautiful depiction of Maa's anger to khushi initially followed by arnav's interference leading to Maa's attack and then finally her accepting khushi's wishes and arnav.

But you rushed through their marriage and post marriage story.

At the end liked the way arnav accepted the Maa for khushi.
