Stree Set For A Huge HIT - Sultan Struggles In China

Saturday 01 September 2018 23.00 IST .

Stree is set to emerge a huge HIT as the film has grown around 50% on Saturday. This sort of growth comes for many films but the importance is that growth has come in areas which sometime struggle for big growth on Saturday and it is from a good first day level. A circuit like Rajasthan has grown around 40% which means decent acceptance in the mass circuits while big cities are doing very well anyway.

The second day collections will be around 9.50 crore nett and could even hit double digits which is huge for Stree and basically means the film has done the job as it is sure to cross 25 crore nett for the weekend. the film is performing better than Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which was a runaway HIT. Stree will need Monday to have some sort of hold to confirm its HIT status but the way Saturday has gone it should hold well enough.

Sultan has not done well in China as it failed to grow much on Saturday. The film grossed a little under $1 million on Friday and is a little over $1 million on Saturday but it lost shows on Saturday as the first day performance was not in accordance to the screenings. It looks $3 million weekend for the film which is below the mark.

RR has that nargis movie and Shraddha BGMC ... their next movie will decide their future 😊 though I have a feeling both vll flop and RR and Shraddha vll be back to square one 😉

Stree showed growth on Saturday and collected around 10.50 crore nett. The total of the film is 17 crore nett plus in two days and considering the growth has come all over and collections in mass circuits at levels which dont normally happen for films have this sort of face value and no action then its pretty much certain the film is going to be a HIT.

There is Janmashtami on Monday which will give it a boost and the Tuesday hold will tell how big the film can become.

The collections of Stree till date are as follows.

Friday - 6,65,00,000

Saturday - 10,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 17,15,00,000 apprx

Watched the movie last night with my entire family . It's an absolute 'paisa-vasool' one time watch . The came work is stunning and will make you fall in love with the quaint town of Chanderi .

RR was simply his usual charming best self in the movie, Shraddha was beautiful and looked good with RR . But the movie shined because of the 'side-role' actors . They all did a tremendous job and made the movie the natural laugh riot it is . 👏
