Was thinking this too. It's mainly going to revolve around the main characters and the rest are supporting which I think Janhvi and Bhumi will fall under. Janhvi isn't an experienced actress so high chances of her getting overshadowed (unless she pulls off something amazing) while Bhumi is a good actress so she has that going for her. I wonder why he cast Janhvi in this one. Unless she won't have to film much and will have time to be in one of his other movies too.

On another note it's funny to me how they announce things that are like 2 years into the future with such grandeur like they're announcing the World Cup or something šŸ˜†

These kind of films take ages to go on floors and sometimes never do . Two examples from Dharma itself - kalank/shiddat and Shuddhi . Except that this will definitely take off as soon as possible since it is kjo himself directing.

Yup, Janhvi will definitely not be sitting and waiting to start shooting for this movie. She must have signed something else with dharma (or someone else) in between.

Just realized something - Anil K has acted or will be acting with all the next gen in his family within the span of two years (his son, daughter, nephew and niece)

Hope it's the Kjo of MNIK and not ADHM who will be directing this film.

They needed young stories and directors.

Yea me too. But on paper these movies look like hits, and these two are still too new to be able to just reject a Dharma offer. Jhanvi might still do something more content driven before any of these go into production. Ishaan seems to have something lined up but not ready to announce.

Why though?? If Ishaan and janhvi can see the kind of success that alia has had, I don't think they would really mind being "primarily" seen as a Dharma protege. At least Ishaan wouldn't.

I don't think janhvi would like to be seen as one forever though. Mostly because there are already quite a few big names keen to work with her and she with them . Some of it is for emotional reasons - for example Gauri Shinde and Balki.

Also, I feel she will, like Varun, branch out and work with others too.

For all her naivete, she is a lot smarter than ever letting things get to an extent where the industry would start making snide remarks about her getting a career laid out on a platter by one producer/director (KJo).

It's male centric film. Kareena will get lost by all her Co stars.
It will be a mess. I am excited for Kalank. Not this one.

Kareena, Alia, Jhanvi, Bhumi

So many actresses.

Alia is probably the center of attention in these films and probably has the best role. but a true testament to her talent is if she can overshadow her coactresses..be in kalank or this one too.

Now this is the kind of multistarrer I was waiting to see in Bollywood šŸ‘šŸ‘
But, i have a fear that they will forcefully ghusao unnecessary romantic tracks into the film. Please no, keep it focused on sibling rivalry.

So will Ranveer fans stop bashing KJo then for ignoring him? šŸ˜†
Btw movie sounds supremely boring. For the first time I felt no interest whatsoever in a KJO film announcement. ADHM was trash but overall it sounded much more interesting.
