I also felt cvs made the dialogue too ott by making adi say "main zoya se bepannah pyaar karta hu" its still not bepannah pyaar frm his side for zoya i feel. He should have said instead "main zoya se bohat pyaar karta hu" but they needed to add the shows name to add the intensity n exciting factor to his dialogues so thats y they used it. But for both adiya to have bepannaah love for each other, theres still a very very long long way to go n they have to cross many more hurdles n difficult paths to have that love which will b limitless. Wen they will b able to cross all those hurdles together successfully for each other only then their love can in real sense be called as bepannaah.

I agree with almost everything you have said here. But just a thought. It's possible that Aditya does feel "bepannah" love for Zoya. This is a man who believed he was in love with Pooja but clearly was not tortured or massively affected by her presence in his life. At the end of the day he felt comfortable with her and of course there was a base level of physical attraction. So, may be he is at a stage in his life where he can tell that his love for Zoya is all encompassing. From this point on, it can only grow.

Neither Aditya nor Zoya are ready for a full blown relationship. As everyone has pointed out here, there is still a lot of growth that is needed. Aditya still needs to learn not to run away from the world and confront life's hurdles head on. It's possible coming from a well to do family he has the privilege to travel the world and disappear without having to worry about the basic necessities of life. But that cannot be how life works always. At some point every human being needs to face the realities of the world and face it head on. And I look forward to seeing Aditya grow here.

Zoya is a little more confusing. She does seem to be, outwardly, the more emotionally stable of the two. But if the writers are smart and if they do what I hope they will, I want to see Zoya as someone who no longer believes she needs to be married.Let her be afraid of being emotionally vulnerable and open with a man again. It is natural to be cautious and tentative when it comes to love (in the truest sense) when you have been burned so badly. Let Aditya work a little bit for her to come around because that will allow him to grow and be invested in his own relationship (unlike his previous one) and it will allow for Zoya to see the difference between the true love that Aditya has for her and the one that she experienced with Yash.

Post leap, I have seen like at least 20 topics posted analysing their character growth or lack thereof. Everyone is literally tearing their hair out..are they in love or in denial?

Trust me when I say it's fun, but if we are wondering and puzzling so much, how the trp audience must feel? I understand they seem to prefer simple and easy to understand love stories.

Hey @romancefan, guess your name says it all, eh?

Unfortunately you've posed the question to the wrong person 'cos BP is the only series that I'm currently watching on ITV!

Don't know about the others, but can speak only about the thought behind my post...Aditya and Zoya are undoubtedly very well written characters, but can the CVs do better? The honest answer in my opinion is a loud and resounding YES!!
A lot of our affinity for AdiYa comes from JenShad playing them...lesser actors would have made a caricature of the characters...even running the risk of comimg across as imbecile in a sense...the makers truly owe a lot to Harshad and Jennifer for the immortality that they have lent to Aditya and Zoya, respectively!

As for comparisons with trp shows...to each his own...my comparisons are really with the BENCHMARK that is "Zindagi Gulzar Hai" for me...flawless writing to complement flawless acting!

Cheers!

I so agree with your post.As everyone pointed out it is too soon for Aditya to say it is his Bepannah love for Zoya. He has just started realizing the importance of Zoya in his life and he needs a lot of maturity to turn this blooming love in something as intense as bepannah.

I would also love to see the demons of zoya.As show has always been close to reality, it would be the right direction if they show us that Zoya might be a positive light but still she has some dark corners in her heart. And when they both will fight for each other and will let the individual to fight for self, that will take this love to the whole new other level.😳
Lets take a bet on writers.. It is totally in their hands in which direction they will take Adiya Love.
Lets buckle up our seats.. cause i am feeling it is gonna be very intense flight.😃

Haha😆 it's been said many times that Bepannaah fandom is highly intelligent, capable of deep analysis of every scene. There are several Doctors, software Engineers, investment Analysts and business directors in this forum.

Yes I know that Jenshad did an incredible job so far and only highly experienced actors can pull off Aditya and Zoya roles. But am sure you are aware that trp is a constant battle for this show, so am just wondering how this whole thingy will pan out for the trp audience who may be more confused than us. Of course, as fans, the most wonderful gift to our show will be to help them fetch trps.

Bepanah moves to the next phase with completion of 100 episodes.

The CVs I think made Aditya use the " Bepanah pyar " phrase as they have exactly what you are suggesting as the way forward.,DocD. I believe we are going to see a different Aditya now .An Aditya who will move out of Zoya's way to allow her to move forward in life by marrying Arshad..He will not fight with Arshad neither expose him as someone out to cheat Zoya etc etc as spoiler after spoiler have been saying but move out of their way ...leave for Paris as he had planned.Arshad I feel is not going to be a villainous guy but rather a nice fellow ..someone parents would want their daughter to marry ...specially one who has been through previous bad experience. She herself will abide by her father's wishes as when she married against his wishes it was a disaster. She will hesitate to rebel again.
Adi has a tortured life ahead as the sacrificing lover but he will prove it is a bepanah pyar by leaving for Paris to allow her to marry Arshad for her happiness.

I am almost certain this is the way forward for this serial even though I will hate to see Aditya as a tragic hero.

I believe the plot will move this way as this is a Cinevista production and maybe some of you have seen their magnum opus DMG which starred JW in the lead as well.In DMG the lead Riddhima also marries under unfortunate circumstances a guy she did not love but approved of by her father who did not like the boy she wanted to marry. It was a long saga of sacrifice, doing one's duty, tradition etc ..one that ended happily after a long twisted journey.

Actually, almost did not but for the fact that fans would not have it any other way.I believe the finale was changed under pressure to bring about a happy ending.

Be prepared for shades of Dil Mil Gayye in different packaging.

Nooo...I don't want Bepannaah to go DMG way! The USP of this show is and always will be Aditya and Zoya together. The trp will surely take a nosedive if one of them is married to someone else. Because they will have to go through divorce or widowhood again in order to be with each other. There is already enough tragedy in their lives. They deserve true happiness now.
And trp audience love marriage and family drama, so for trp to go up, Zoya must become a Hooda soon.

i feel Aditya and Zoya havent changed much post leap .. they are the same .. it is just that a bad experience has helped them to grow a lil but not completely ...
Like for Aditya he is the same .. his actions have been always extreme and that being his basic nature he did the same thing by moving away .. what change he went through seems that he feels his old version is not good and hence this side of his .. he is too hard on his self .. he saying Bepannaah Pyar for zoya seemed very much him as thats again him .. once he feels something or decides something being extreme as a person does that only .. If he feels he is madly in love with zoya then there is no mid way .. its always this way or that way .. thats his nature ..

Zoya is also the same .. the change being she has learned a lot of things like cooking , driving , running a company which is huge .. so she is more independent and confident .. i feel she has always been gutsy but its just that she never knew how capable she is and now that she knows she made good use of it .. i agree zoya has changed a lil more but still she is the same bubbly girl who is not the that innocent ..

I agree AdiYa needs to grow a lil more .. i guess with more experiences they vl become a better version of themselves ...

BTW lovely post !!! enjoyed reading your perspective .. u write so well 😃

You've actually touched upon an important point...trp of the show!

The kind of show that BP is...it was never intended to be run of the mill, IMO...even Harshad's interview during the show's release hinted at that...

The makers however, have tried everything available at their disposal...what was the Rajveer track all about? It made no sense whatsoever! Was the tried and tested method to rake in the trps...didn't work, did it?

A better approach IMO is to stay true to the core...and the makers have shown us their nuanced side...on several occasions...and the TRPs have remained constant!

BP is doing fine...it can only get better...don't think it was ever meant to be part of the rat race...guess, we should all be proud to remember Bepannaah as a successful attempt at novel story-telling, with some epochal performances on display!

Amen to that!

And one more thing...DMG was not under the pressure of trp race so could show anything they want. But BP is different. It's cruel but in order to compete with the Titans, CVs cannot afford to deviate from the fixed formula.
