1. Which one of the roles of Akbar Mohd.Khan do you like/admire the best.. You can grade them in the order of your preferences, supported by reasons/examples.

a. Ustaad.

b. Intelligence Officer.

c. Husband.

His role of the Intelligence Officer put him in a dilemma..Love or Loyalty? How he struggled to balance both the duties is brought out in his role.

As a husband, in my opinion, his balance tilted in favour of Love.

As Ustaad, he had only one aim- his duty towards the Moghul Empire. Nothing else distracted him.

3. Which one of the fight scenes is most thrilling in the novel..?

a. The fight between Akbar and the ruffians Strangler and Raftaar.

b. Akbar's fight with Khalil in saving Heera from the latter.

a. The fight with the Strangler and Raafter happened without warning, whereas he knew about his mission and was prepared mentally to give a fight to Khalil, in the process of saving his lady love, whom he was going to marry. His presence of mind is seen when he eliminated both the attackers single handedly in the alleyway by the tavern.

4. Which one of the scenes is the most pathetic one? Reasons?

a. Summoning Heera to the Sabha Nivas by the Ranasa and Ranisa of Manswar.

b. The trial of Khan Sahib and Heera at the Moghul Court.

c. The scene where Chachajaan narrates the childhood tragedy of Khan Sahib to Heera.

a. Of course the humiliation both Akbar and Heera suffered in the Moghul court is gigantic, but the magnitude of Heera's suffering in the presence of her own people, debasing her character, with no one to support her stand, which led to the break up of her relationship with her foster parents... I think this is the most pathetic scene..

5. Who is the least vilest villain in the story ?. How do you account for it?

a. Kunwar Mahender

b. Farooq

c. Khalil

c. We know from the beginning that he is bad. But not like the scheming Mahender or the double-faced Farooq. We can pardon the enemy, but not the betrayer..

10. In which chapter will Akbarkhan and Heera win and come out of their charges?

a. 55

b. 54

c. 53.

b. I think the fortnight time given will enable Azeez and friends to solve the clues Akbar had given them. In which case ch 52 and 53 will narrate the events and if we are lucky to see the sword fight, Ch 54 will take care of it.So my expectation is that there'll be a ray hope for the exoneration of their charges in Ch 54.
