Raman completed reading the letter and was in tears the moment he was done with it . He closed his eyes but didn't wiped the tears and let them flow , he hugged the letter close to his heart and spoke " I m so sorry ishita, I never know that Ashok bhai will do this to you . Maine kabhi nahi socha tha that my own brother will misbehave with you . I wanted to take revenge from mihir but never ever thought that I can loose you too . Nidhi is my girlfriend but I promise i never had such relationship with her like this . Yeah it's my fault that I didn't denied when he put that condom packet in my pocket but I never intended to bed with Nidhi. I just want to hurt you but I m not a playboy, I know you were so hurt but still you should have waited for me . You should have confronted me before taking such huge step . "
Saying so he cried more looking towards the bulb of operation theatre.The operation was taking time but Raman was not able to hold himself , he so wanted to beat Ashok black and blue for eyeing on his wife . He saw shagun and toshiji was but as both were ladies, he don't want to leave them alone. He thought for much time and finally called mihir's number . Mihir At first ignored the call seeing unknown number then finally picked it after two calls .
M- hello .
R- hello mihir , this is Raman.
M- Raman? Why do you bother to call after so many days , I don't want to talk ...
R- mihir it's about ishita , she is not well .
M(worried)- ishu , what happened to ishu , tune kya kiya meri behan ke saath, I will kill you if something happened to her .
R- you do whatever you want to do , but please come to city hospital first .
M- city hospital ? Kya Hua?
R- mihir please come , ishita is in ICU. Tujhe jo karna hai mere saath kar lena but before that I have to complete one very important work .
M- you stay there , I m just coming .
R- humm , make it fast .
Shagun listened this and asked " did you called mihir ?"
R- yeah .
S- pagal ho gaye ho tum , you know n.a. now what iyers will do . They already hate us due to your deeds and you think they are going to leave you easily after knowing that their girl commited suicide because of you .
R- it's not because of me but because of your husband .
S- what the he'll? What do you mean ?
Shagun asked surprised while toshiji too started listening the conversation keenly . Raman forwarded the letter to shagun , she read it and got shock of her life . She became glued to her place while a set of tears made their way from her eyes making toshiji think . She too took the letter and read it , she too couldn't stop herself from crying thinking about ishita's hurt, toshiji gave a hard slap on Raman's cheek and asked angrily " how dare you , how can you stoop so low Raman that even after having your wife in house , you went to another girl...
He interrupted his mother and said " nothing like that ma , she is just my ..."
T- tu chup rah , how can you even think about it . Have you seen your father, he don't love me much but he didn't even thought about any other woman .till date . aur tum dono bhai , chee sharm aati tum dono no apna beta kahte huye.
R- I m sorry ma .
T- chup rah nalayak.
She folded her both hands and spoke crying " hey matarani what have you done to me , ye kaise bachche diye mujhe , ek kudi thi usne pahle hi apni life le li us mihir se pyaar kar ke then these two boys , ek shaadi kar ke le aaya doosre ne uspe galat nigaah daali. "
She dropped herself in the bench crying bitterly , Raman tried to wipe her tears but she shrugged his hand and cried more . That's when mihir reached there with mihika , they reached to bhalla's and asked
" what happened to ishita ".
Raman didn't spoke anything just stood there silently when mihir clutched his collar and spoke " bol Kya kiya tune meri behan ke saath ".
R- she tried to commit suicide .
M- (surprised)- suicide , why did she did that , you must have done something.
Saying so he punched Raman two three times but he didn't stopped him that's when mihika stopped him and spoke " mihir stop it , it's hospital . Can't you see his state , his eyes are red due to crying and if he has done anything , only he is not but you people are equally responsible. I agree ishita had done mistake but what you all did , you people left her totally , never ever tried to know about her . Even that day when I told about her , you and appa didn't budged , so not only him but we are also responsible for it , it's not time to blame each other rather it's time to pray about her . She looked at Raman and asked
" how is she ".
R(with tear filled eyes)- don't know , operation is going on .
Mi- has doctor told everything?
R- no he has taken her inside while I was gone to file FIR. You people please be here , I will return soon .
M- where are you going .
R- I told you na , one very urgent work is left , will do that and return .
Saying so he told the constable to come with him while shagun and toshiji too followed him, shagun asked " Raman what are you going to do ".
R- wahi jo ek molester ke saath hona chahiye, I m giving this note to police . You don't try to stop me as he has not only done wrong with ishita but you too .
S-even I was saying that , don't leave him . I knew about him but tried to ignore but he has crossed all the limits and mummyji you are not going to stop .
T- you people had not left me for saying anything .
Raman drove towards bhalla house , soon all reached there . The trio entered the house and went to ishra room where police was still searching ishita's suicide note , that's when Raman asked " inspector did you got something ".
PI- not yet , but I m sure, will get it soon .
R-no need for that here is the letter and he is your culprit .
He roared pushing Ashok in front of inspector . Mr bhalla and inspector was surprised while Ashok spoke " Raman have you gone mad , I m your brother damn it ."
R-( clutching his collar and punching ashok)-yeah and she was my wife , how many times , I warned you , not to bad eye her . And what you did , you tried to molest her that's why you provoked me to be with Nidhi. Hai na, but I was getting bad vibes that's why I returned .
He spoke this and stopped for sometime to recall the rest of happening but was not able to recall . He tried for sometimes then thought to think later thinking so he punched Ashok again and spoke " how dare you , how dare you touched her ".
Thinking so he punched him again and again then threw Ashok towards inspector and told him to arrest . The inspector handcuffed Ashok and was going when shagun stopped them and slapped Ashok tight . He glared her while she spoke " don't you dare to look at me like this , inspector take him away and make him repent nicely for his deeds . "
Soon inspector went away leaving a constable with Raman while toshiji and Mr bhalla were the mute spectator and were watching their breaking family . After getting Ashok arrested Raman again went back to hospital where ishita's operation was completed but she was still in ICU , still laying unconscious .Raman asked the nurse , if he can see her she shook her head negatively and spoke " no you can't, we had just shifted her in ICU."
Saying so she went while Raman saw ishita from the round glass which was fixed in ICU door.he saw tubes and wires attached to her body and cried seeing her state .
