I hope you are right. Shows like YPNTKH deserves to have the time to complete its full run. So much goes into making a show and as audiences we also invest much in terms of time and energy that it's really unfair to take it off line within a two week deadline. Been through that too many times but I hope this will be an exception.

@Bold- That's totally true Mahi. 100% correct. Sony never does that. I think I'm worrying too much, I should chill a bit 😆Even I hardly watch shows from other channels. You're right, SP (and all the other channels as well) is notoriously infamous for forcing changes in the storyline of shows. The last non-Sony show I watched was 'Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara' on SP. That would have turned out to be a beautiful show but SP didn't allow it to run properly :(

TRP's are a highly inaccurate way to judge a show's popularity and this issue has been a talking point in the Television Industry for a long time now. The sample size from which TRP's are collated is still too small for a country as big as India and then I don't think, they have demarcation of Urban and Rural areas.
The type of people who watch a show like Naagin or Bhabhiji Ghar pe hain might not be interested in watching a show like YPNTKH and vice versa. There are surely some shows, which have a pan-Indian audience like KBC, Big Boss and the reality singing shows, but daily soaps have very specific target audience. If TRP was this important and accurate, then Sony should have shut shop long back. Literally, none of its daily soaps ever garner enough TRP's, leave along topping charts. And while they might not drag on for years like Star Plus shows, they do have a viewership and they do enjoy a decent run.So I don't think, YPNTKH will be unduly affected by low or even very low TRP's, although I do feel that 9.30 is a terrible time slot for a show that is so different from its competition. This type of show does much better in an odd time slot.In any case, these days, shows with kids are the flavor and love stories in general are not doing well, in any channel. So to expect that a contemporary and drama-free love story like YPNTKH will get good TRP's is unrealistic.I am sure the Channel and the makers of the show are aware of this and not affected by the low numbers.
