Arg was up 2-1 and then they lost it. Basically players were older and got tired..could not compete with that mambua and papua whatever their names are. West Indies use to be a great cricket team before all tall players started going to NBA for money. Looks like all african talent is going to Europe and no African team is in second round. What a shameful thing..kindda like slavery. But then desis are doing the same in US..for money.

Anyway I dont like france but if someone wins on merit then let it be

Port game was again okay but like Arg Port is a bad team as well. Though Uru not as tough as Fance

I will be favoring Uru over France

Overall disappointing day as big names generate interest. I am not keen on mambua papua tapua type players lol

@cookies: It goes without saying that Argentine defense was suspect because this team is crazily front loaded but I'd argue that any team that has as many quality players as Argentina did both on and off the bench isn't as hot garbage as you make it sound - they made their bed by making shit selections like playing Meza, Pavon consistently over better players, not getting Messi to play behind Kun/Dybala etc *shrugs* hardly matters now that they are rightfully eliminated but I won't be surprised if after this old guard retires, Icardi, Barco, Lautaro, Ascacibar, Dybala etc actually bring home a trophy.

For the quarters, it'll be exciting to see how Uruguay's Godin-Gimenez pairing fares against France's pace. I think Uruguay will edge France here, especially if Laxalt and Torreira (and Cavani obviously) put in the kind of shift they did today.
