I watched Veera Di Wedding yesterday. It was my first chick flick experience in big screen ,first
A movie in big screen and first Kareena , Sonam movie in big screen . it marked "many firsts"😆 and I loved it , I won't say it is flawless but for time pass and for good laugh this movie is one of the best.
I could relate to many things definitely not the A version only 😆 but the girl gang get together , the nagging aunties , persistent mother , swanky relatives and many things.
I loved Kareena , oh god I am jealous of her skin with that pink colour and she looked beautiful except in that fairy tale dress . She acted well and this is the first time after JWM I felt that Kareena's acting was really good. But my favourite was Swara, she was bindass girl. loved her quirky character , she is the one who starts teasing her friends and make light of the situation .Her last conversation with parents was🤣
This is for the first time I loved Sonam in a movie , she is sweet , bubbly and cute . I loved every scene of Swara and Shikha together , meera and sakshi together was like soda and rum 😆 Sumeet vyas few dialogues were best .
I enjoyed the film thoroughly because I knew that this is just a time pass movie . I didn't like the costumes , I mean there was no wow factor , even the songs were below average .I liked the dance practice scene and music though. Regarding other characters Kalindi's father and chachu's character are not relatable , I mean their reasons for fights and Kalindi's father's reason for his indifference are not convincing.
There were not any path breaking scene as such , the movie itself was path breaking in mainstream Indian cinema . It was all about modern girls , girl talks , their perception though it was superficial and mostly about the perception of high class girls yet I haven't heard about an Indian commercial movie which targets solely the female audience .
