The same lead was playing central role in Sony Tv and Zee Tv simultaneously.

Even in Star Plus Ronit Roy was playing two important roles one was Mihir and another Mr Bajaj

At that time they kept bank of episodes ,Like atleast 2 weeks episodes were always ready.There was no forceful intrusion by this saas bahu betiyaan gang to shoot the spoilers on sets. They just reported and left.

So when there used to be bank of epsiodes the actors worked and completed their work, took rest , got to another studio to shoot another serial. Unlike today where a a lead actor is supposed to be the face of the channel and cant work sideby in rival channel.

In previous times, the working style was relaxed and the bank of episodes helped actors to go for holiday and take break or do other shows, reality shows sideby

Even i remember when Mumbai floods in july 2006 happened the shooting was stalled for a week and more almost.

But the channels were running easily the episodes as long they had bank.Once the bank finished they started repeating

so earlier times they had a fixed track and did shooting according to it without bothering of TRP. But now they dont shoot in advance because they want to see reactions every week.They dont create bankk of episodes.

The pressure in old times was less and serials ran despite poor TRPs as they makers already shoot the episodes well in advance .

That model of working gave ample rest to actors to enjoy their life

They could finish even a work of 3 weeks and go abroad for vacation.

But now an actor has to be there every week.

If there is bank of episodes like previous times , then only actors could take a break while channels would have sufficient episodes to air even when there is no shooting.
