Not really. He has always been like that. Who in their right mind will do Besharam? The only thing it had going was that the director delivered Dabangg before that. Or even a Bombay Velvet. Kashyap is a great director but it doesn't really mean he will always make good films. When I saw the film, I couldn't believe none of them realised it was a train wreck 😆 At the end of the day, what matters is the script. The past reputation or past track record is irrelevant. Ranbir chose to do a Barfi though Basu had delivered Kites before that. That is how you choose films anyway. Well I can only hope he is doing it for the script not because Luv Ranjan has delivered a huge hit 😆

This is so funny. All Ranbir's reel selves 'discovered' themselves because of strong women while Luv Ranjan's entire filmography is based on the narrative that women are one dimensional evil masterminds. 😆 Wonder how that's gonna work.

Also Luv Ranjan makes really misogynist films and the actors don't have much to do in most cases. If a light commercial film is what he wants to do, I'd rather he collaborates with Ayaan than a Luv Ranjan 😆

Film only works if it's made in luv ranjan movie budget not Ranbir.

Ranbir has been wishing to work with Luv since Pyaar Ka Punchnama series.In one of his IVs he confessed how he utterly loved both the parts of PKP.

During his twitter chat he said he was in talks with Luv and at that time SKTKS was not even released.I don't think it has anything to do with the success of SKTKS.

I love the pyaar ka punchnama series. Why RK always works with great directors and he ruins their movie and makes them into medicore. Let Kartik aaryan keep working with that director because he's actually a funny guy who has a great comic timing. Unlike overrrated rk who has one tone and one expression on he's eyes

But then both the films worked too. What I was trying to say was that he shouldn't collaborate with a director just because he worked with him in the past or because they have a good track record. Post Barfi I was convinced he has good script sense and knows how to choose his films. Not anymore 😆SRK, Ranbir, Anushka etc need a crash course probably from Aamir on how to read scripts and pick films. Anyway to cut the long story short, am only hoping he reads the script 😆

Umm, I'm not a one-dimensional Ranveer stan. I do like RK as an actor, though I am not a fan of his recent work, and don't like him offscreen anymore.

My comment was only regarding his choice in the role/director which in my extremely humble opinion, is questionable, and can only be because the director has delivered a huge hit and is the flavour of the season. Not once did I question his acting ability. I personally would like to see him in a serious role working with a great director, not an overrated one. Again, that is my opinion. To each her own.

I have replied to your comment only because you quoted me. I have no intention of starting a fan war on an RK topic, and nowhere have I mentioned Ranveer, which is why you calling me out as a fan/fanbot is uncalled for.
