To be frank, I did not find Eri's LC to be as controversial or offensive as it has been made out to be. The only difference in this chat was that she deliberately picked up questions to answer about Shaheer other than that her LC was just like Raj's iv with absolutely no feels except for her stating that he was her best friend in that iv.


She has stated the same thing in this LC which Shaheer has been saying in his interviews too. Her 'not really' answer to the question about her being in touch with Shaheer reminded me of Shaheer saying that they do not meet outside the sets. At least here she was vague in her answer whereas he had lied outright in that iv. 😆


When he can say he is single and has yet to meet the love of his life why can't she say that she too has to yet meet the person she will marry.


Regarding the question on her working with Shaheer again , what she said is the widely accepted fact in TV industry though that seems to be changing now.


Her lol in the reply was to the question on KRPKAB season 3 and not for working with Shaheer in the future. When in season 2, she had no substantial role to play as it was all about showcasing Dev's mahaan & unrealistic track, it is really laughable that people are expecting KRPKAB 3 to happen & that Erica would be willing to act in it.


Her reply to the unfollow question was the only one where I felt that yes that they did have a major tiff on his birthday and she must be having some strong & valid reason for unfollowing him.


Also regarding Shaheer liking a fan's comment. I doubt he has read the full sentence properly. The only thing which must have registered in his mind about the comment was that is not ok to bash the lady and hence his like on that comment.


I am surprised at the bitterness and anger that the fans are showing after the LC. I understand that the Sharica fans have been very much emotionally invested in this ship but then even if the ship has sunk ( which I doubt) it is Sharica's life and it is they who have to live their life with each other. If they are indeed incompatible, then it is better they go their separate ways now rather than stay in a relationship which may stifle them & turn out to be toxic in the future. Also I do feel that if Shaheer is serious about this relationship, then he has to prioritise what is important to him. Since Erica seems more of a family person who loves to have her loved ones around her, in the long run given his preference for Indo, I doubt that this relationship would work especially as it looks like she will never be welcomed with love in that place. If they really love each other and value their relationship , they will certainly work on their difference and will resolve it. So the best thing for us is to just go with the flow and wait & watch to see where this ship is headed. If they are meant to be together nothing can change their destiny and if not we have to be prepared for the ship to sink like the titanic ( i.e. if the ship has not yet sunk😕) as well. And if that happens, let us support them as two individuals rather than than taking sides and blaming the person who we think as per our perspective might have contributed the major part in sinking our ship that too based only on our assumptions and not the actual facts.

On that note, let us spend our valuable time with the people who are important in our real life- our family & friends and stop breaking our head on these two and just go with the flow without any expectations.

Shaheer most probably would only skim through the comments section and not go deeply into reading & analysing the comments. When I read the comment for the first time, the first part of the sentence did not register in my mind. It was only when I read it a couple of times more, I realized it could be interpreted as to Eri bashing him. From what little we know of Shaheer, he would never disrespect a lady whatever the provocation may be & hence I am 100% sure that he put a like only for the latter part of the comment.
