Saw the movie today and honestly there wasn't much to take away from it. It was just a bland movie after which you just leave feeling dissatisfied because it doesn't leave you with any emotion.

Varun's character was endearing thought didn't really think Varun got much to do in terms of flexing his acting muscles. It was a departure from his usual Govinda/Salman type acting so it was refreshing change though there was not much for him to do for showing his acting chops.

Banita Sandhu is pretty but again she also had pretty much no acting to do since SPOILER ALERT - she is in a coma for most of the movie.

Overall had high expectations but Shoojit failed to deliver this time. Watch if you are a Varun fan but otherwise this film has nothing to offer.

Watched it last night, a feel good movie. It's so simple and light hearted, kind a like Piku. Was expecting to be boring but it's not, moves at a good pace and loved the ending.
Varun def shined, can't believe he is David Dhawan son. Good for him, always rooted for him. Happy to see him not disappoint, Varun is Dan..no two ways about it.
Banita was also very good , amazing debut. Looking forward to seeing her.
Very well made movie, def worth watching.

Only few dialogues in the movie, yet the impact she left
She emoted thru her eyes in the entire movie, and what expressive eyes

Varun Dhawan's October takes a MASSIVE jump on Day 2
