Also in retrospect, DZ wasn't exactly a great film. The only good things about the film were SRK and Ae zindagi gale lagale. I also liked a couple of SRK Alia scenes. Otherwise it was not a patch on EV.

I think it is because she is Anil's daughter and grew up in front of him and so he does not want to romance her. Even Salman was supposedly uncomfortable doing romantic scenes with her.

Thought it was pretty boring tbh. SRK was the only good part. I don't love love EV either but it was definitely better.

But then in the context of this blind, isn't it creepier to romance Alia? She is also an industry kid and a lot younger too. And then again there was no 'romance' per se in the film. Am just trying to understand why he doesn't 'like' Sonam. He has worked with actresses much worse than her. Even I have always had the feeling that he is hesitant to work with her so I was just curious 😆
