yeah i am also waiting for a confident zoya.. she is gradually moving towards that...i loved the way she arranged for the event...

and aditya...well what to say about him...❤️

when I started watching the show this one aspect bothered me a lot and i felt anjana's helplessness...the story might and will most probably pan out in a different way but i wanted to do something about Adi's apathy towards his mother...😊

I am writing the part, hopefully i will be able to post it tonight...😳

Adiya last part- A new journey

The fiery buttery ball signalled the start of a new day painting the sky with a fusion of it's brilliant hues of orange, red and yellow...Aditya stirred in his sleep. Being a pilot he should have had a habit of rising early but, he could never really will his eyes to open before the Sun was up there in the sky glaring at the mere mortals below unless he had an early morning flight. Now that he was suspended he slept till the sun peeked from behind the curtains waking him up from his slumber.

He yawned and sat up, rubbing his eyes. And then sat blinking staring at the wall opposite him. Something was different today... and almost suddenly the events of the last night flashed before his eyes, Zoya's advice, his conversation with his mother...and he felt like a load had been lifted off his chest...he was also feeling a little less despondent than the other days...of course the anguish because of his personal life could not be mitigated but he felt lighter...

He showered and got ready and came down for breakfast. He saw his mother, her mood improved exponentially, evident from her content facial expression arranging the plates on the table for breakfast. He had forgotten the unadulterated happy smiling face of his mother. And today he was glad that he could bring back that smile.

but it was not you actually' the tiny voice inside him spoke up...

He agreed. And he knew what he had to do...

Last night after the revelation, he had profusely apologised to his mother. But he knew the pain that he had inflicted on her for so many years could not be erased with a few apologies. he would make it up to her...it would take time to achieve perfect normalcy in his relationship with his mother but in time things would turn back to normal...he vowed..

"Good Morning Ma he greeted her while sitting down..

"Good Morning Adi" His mother gave him a radiant smile and then looked at him...He seemed to have had sound sleep. He did not look raddled like he did on other days.

He wanted to apologise to her again, but his mother had made him promise to not say Sorry' to her again...and so he stopped himself...

She had prepared his omelette just the way he loved it...Right on cue his stomach grumbled...

"Ma, I was thinking let's have a family dinner outside tonight, you, me and Arjun"..he said while applying butter on his toast. "It's been forever since we have had dinner together."

To say she was happy would be an understatement...She had finally got her son back...she nodded, glad at the prospect of spending time with her kids together again.

"That is a great idea" she chirped...

Arjun came out of his room still groggy from lack of sleep. He had to work on a case the whole night because the hearing was due in a couple of days...

Adi looked up and smirked...Arjun was going to get the shock of his life in a few seconds...

And he was not wrong...

Arjun sat on one of the chairs and started cleaning his glasses...

"Arjun...lets go out for dinner tonight... What do you say?...You, me and ma"

Arjun nodded in the negative, a sad yet comical inverted frown on his lips...he had to work on his case..

"Bhai, I..ca..." and he looked up...first his gaze locked on his brother's face and then his gaze shifted to his mother who was standing near Adi...smiling...

He frowned unsure of what he was hearing...

"Which mother?" he asked completely baffled...For the longest time Ma meant Sakshi for Adi...But to Arjun, it did not feel like he was talking about Sakshi now...sakshi was not even home...

"What?" Adi asked amused...Anjana smiled heartily looking at Arjun's confusion...

And then Adi chuckled.

"Our mother Arjun!!" he said as if reprimanding him for being dense...

Arjun had no idea what had transpired between his elder brother and his mother in a single day that transformed their equation to this extent...but he did not even want to know...all he knew and saw was his mother had a wide smile on her face and his brother was happy...that is all that mattered to him.

He was ecstatic and was frankly jumping with joy inside at what he was seeing...

"I am completely free Bhai let's go out tonight!!" and the trio sat at the dinner table chatting away while a seething harsha looked on from his study room wondering how all of this had happened...

Aditya reached office right at 8:45, and braced himself for what he had to do today, thank his arch enemy...Zoya always reached office around the same time so he hoped he could get hold of her when her interns and employees were not surrounding her...

He pressed the button of the elevator and looked around trying to see if Zoya was there. And he saw Zoya getting out of the car along with Maahi, he closed his eyes in frustration...by this time Zoya knew Maahi's ulterior motives yet she allowed Maahi to tag along...for what? he wondered...

He perused her as she came forward. She was wearing a beige and maroon salwar suit. Her auburn tresses were coiffed in the usual way she did her hair but something was different about her today, she looked almost ethereal, her naivety reflecting on her innocent face. As she came near, he realised the direction his thoughts had swerved to and he looked straight...he had forgotten what he had to do...that had never happened before, he was always aware of how beautiful she was but today it was as if he was seeing her in a completely different light...

Zoya saw Aditya and halted in her tracks and Maahi coming from behind bumped in to her...

"Ouch" Maahi said...

Zoya turned to look at Maahi...

"Oh I am so sorry maahi..."

"What are you doing?" Maahi said while massaging her chin...

"You go ahead" Zoya said while avoiding Aditya's stare...

Maahi moved forward and stood between Aditya and Zoya and gave a sweet sugary smile to him...

"Hi Aditya" she cooed...

Aditya almost rolled his eyes, but he checked himself in time and gave her a perfunctory smile nodding at her...while giving a sidelong glance at Zoya...Zoya determinedly stared ahead...

When the elevator arrived, Maahi went first but Adi stayed back and gestured Zoya to go first...She looked at him from under her lashes and entered the elevator followed by Adi...

A few of their employees also followed suit, all smiling and greeting their bosses...

Adi felt a little annoyed at the complete indifference that Zoya exhibited...He wanted to thank her, so he had to initiate the conversation...

"Zoya, how are you today?" he said while giving her a friendly smile...

Maahi looked at him curiously...

Zoya stared at him as if he had grown two horns, two fangs and wings...

Adi's smile faltered a little...

Zoya scanned his face for any mischief or his usual malice ridden smile but she saw genuine cordiality...

She gave him a half smile..."I am the same. I am okay" and she turned her head and started talking to Mithilesh Ji.

Adi's smile disappeared...he sighed..For Zoya, Mithilesh Ji was more interesting to talk to...this was going to be difficult...

After they settled into their respective cabins and cubicles Adi sat down thinking of what to start his conversation with...and a magical invisible bulb sparked and glow ed on his head...ofcourse, the upcoming event...

Without wasting a minute he decided to intercom her to come to his cabin...but then decided against it...technically it was his obligation so it was he who should go to her cabin..he reasoned...When he came out he saw Zoya talking animatedly about a project with Akansha, their PR head...

He leaned against the door and took the sight in...The desultory attitude had long been replaced by her natural effervescence and now he noticed she looked beautiful, when completely immersed in work trying to innovate and bring about new ideas...she was deep, deeper than a lot of people in his life...

The employees had never been happier. She gave effusive thanks and compliments to them after each successful event, she boosted their morale after a not so great day at work.. she kept in mind what made them happy...the smile on her lips lit up the entire office...she was unique...he concluded...

He straightened himself and strode towards her, she was so engrossed in work she failed to notice him standing right beside her...

he cleared his throat...she stiffened...

"Zoya, I need to talk to you about the upcoming project. Should I wait in your cabin or mine?"

This was the second time she was stumped by his behaviour that day...

What had gotten into him...she wondered..

"Umm...I will be there in your cabin in 10 minutes?".. she said wearily...

"Ok great! I will be waiting" and he gave a genuine smile to Akansha and left...

Ten minutes later, Zoya knocked at his door and he came and opened the door for her...she had a stack of files in her hands related to the event...

"Please sit" he said...

Zoya looked at him surreptitiously as he made his way to his chair..., she had crossed a line yesterday she knew, generally she steered clear of giving unwanted advice but this time she could not help it...

"Sit" he waived his hand towards the chair when he saw her standing...

She came forward and sat down...

"Is there anything specific you want to know about the event? "she asked.

He looked at her, his fist clamping and opening under the table...he needed to get this over with...

"No I just need an overview.."

Zoya nodded and glossed over the files...

"They wanted an ethnic theme with lots of colours and ..." an errant lock of hair teased her cheeks and she tried to put it behind her ear but it came back to tease her again...

He noticed it and for a few moments he stared at her distracted... but then he was jolted back to reality...she was the wife...no the widow of the man who was his wife's lover...what was he thinking...this was just wrong on so many levels...he decided to settle on the practical...

"for the bridal bouquet, we decided on an assortment of different coloured roses, calendula..."

"Zoya, thank you."

She stopped and looked at him...did it mean he was done with acquiring information about the event...

He had this painful expression as if he was being subjected to excruciating torture for some reason...

"For What?" she asked...

Well, since he had started it, it was time he went all the way..

"For telling me all those things yesterday, for making me realise where I had gone wrong all this while"

She took a moment to grasp the meaning of his words and then it dawned on her...

She gave him a smile and it prodded him to continue...

"You were right...I should have talked to her long back...I was being"... he sighed..."insensitive towards her"

"But all that is somewhat sorted now," and he gestured with both his hands "all because of you..".so thank you once again"

Zoya's tentative smile changed into a full blown one and Aditya's heart slammed into his ribs...

She was gorgeous...inside and out

" I am glad you realised your folly. Your mother is a very sweet lady...I hated how you talked to her every single time..."

And there she went on again pointing out his flaws..her favourite pastime...he thought ruefully...

Time to end the conversation...

"I am really thankful to you so I owe you one"... he said in a business like manner...

Zoya almost giggled in the inside...

Aditya Hooda and his pride...

" So I have decided to help you fully in the next 3 upcoming events...anything you want, anything that is required will be at your disposal, you won't have to worry aboutrunning errands for any of those events, you dont have to run around for material or haggle with caterers...You will concentrate on just what you do best...paying attention to the the creative aspect...is that fine by you?"

"It's completely fine by me...and thank you"

"Ok then" he stretched his hand out...best of luck

she looked at him and then at his outstretched hands...after mere seconds, smiling, she clasped them in a firm handshake...

All Zoya had wanted since she came to Mumbai was to save Zosh...in the process keeping Yash's memories alive...So Aditya Hooda helping and actively participating in the work of ZOSH would be perfect for the goodwill of the company

"Best of luck to you too.."

Little did they realise, that this handshake was the seal to tether their lives together forever....

I loved the trio, Adi-Anjana and Arjun scene.

I know I am asking too much. But I just realized that this would have made a great ff, you know. 😳
