Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders
The Law & Order franchise is one of the oldest and most riveting crime dramas on television. The original show ran for twenty years from 1990-2010. SVU is poised to hit 20 seasons in fall. Fans speculate it may outlast the original series.

Ripped from the headlines is not new to the franchise. But with Law & Order True Crime, the franchise officially enters the true crime drama genre. Taking a leaf out of American Crime Story: People Vs OJ Simpson, Law & Order True Crime focuses on another high profile murder of the era.

Unlike the OJ murder where there is still doubt on who committed the crime, in The Menendez Murders we know that the brothers committed the crime. Eric and Lyle eventually confess and surrender. The case is not about proving their innocence. It is about minimizing their charges due to years of sexual abuse leading to fear and retaliation.

It was Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark who carried People vs OJ Simpson on her shoulder. In The Menendez Murders, it is Edie Falco as Leslie Abramson.

This is a must watch show for the Edie Falco's groundbreaking performance. There is also some intriguing crossover with the OJ case I didnt know about.

Wild Wild Country
It is Netflix latest original documentary that is the rage at the moment. It follows controversial Godman Bhagwan Rajneesh (Osho) and his cults attempt to build a utopia in Oregon. This addictive and mesmerizing documentary is a must watch for many reasons. Firstly, it has a commendable unbiased approach. It takes a 360-degree view of the situation. You hear from followers, ex-followers, local Oregonians, federal agents and more. Secondly, the storytelling is top notch. It unfolds at a brisk pace and there are certain pivotal moments and turns that grab and jerk you. The Duplass brothers have done a fantastic job of editing modern-day interviews with old footage. The documentary also has a great soundtrack and background score. But the biggest reason to watch it is Ma Anand Sheela an absolute firecracker and enigmatic woman who will be the subject of your loathing and admiration.

Game Over Man

A childishly stupid movie about dick jokes and other gross toilet humor.

Clannad - Season 1.

Beautiful anime series about love. IDK where to begin? :p

I watched initial episodes almost a month ago so I may be forgetting some things..

This is a high school anime surrounding a delinquent - Tomoya and his school fellows and their friendship. This story has a nice flow, like - light-hearted moments that lead up to really emotional touching moments and then back to the light-hearted.. it's like waves all through the anime, and I like that about this anime.

I don't think I'm able to write well, so will say whatever comes to my mind :p

I loved ALL characters. All characters have a background that is brought forth during the series. You connect with all characters due to this.. Just like life, where everyone has their own background despite what they may seem like everyday.

Tomoya's sarcasm, wit, his heart, he's laidback at the same time isn't.. his relationship with his father was most puzzling, his father is really a very sad person.. is lost, surrendered himself from the reality of life.. Maybe it's because of his father that he's so helpful to everyone.. I wanted to see more of Tomoya-dad.

I loved Nagisa's parents a lot, they were my favorites. Their relationship with each other and Nagisa is so lovely. I think Akio is my most favorite character in this series :D I didn't get enough of Akio-Sanae.

FUKO was the cutest character. I love her-Tomoya's chemistry 😆 And she's also a very sad character.. That episode when her sister visits Tomoya-Nagisa and says the 'two of you', while Fuko was standing between them with that music suddenly playing in the background... I'll never forget it .
Fuko part was too personal desu..

It is really the 'presentation' of emotional scenes in this anime though.. as a person who gets easily carried away, such scenes were really emotionally powerful. It's not just the scene in itself, but the way it takes you away with it, impact it has on you that it feels like an experience. So many scenes like that in this anime - when Fuko starts fading away but Sanae still greets Fuko despite being unable to see her, Fuko-Tomoya-Nagisa celebration of Fuko's birthday at school, some scenes where Fuko was being forgotten and invisible - the entire part after Fuko's truth until the wedding where her sister also talks to Fuko at the end -- everything is so heartbreakingly beautiful... Nagisa's care and protection of Fuko was beautiful..

And then, Kotomi's truth about her parents... I remember a scene at the end of an episode where Tomoya walks into her backyard following a butterfly, it is the presentation, felt magical and was emotionally charged, with that music playing in the background- I won't forget this scene.

The entire flashback of Kotomi's parents' death and her reaction and the teddy bear - was all horrible, it felt difficult to go infront of my parents that day.

Hmm, what else... KYOU and Ryou reminded me of twins from Lucky Star - Kagami and Tsubasa I think. I loved them both...that moment when Ryou and Kyou realize Tomoya's love for Nagisa during a tennis tournament, hug and cry was beautiful.

I wanted to see more of Mei :D ..she's cute..

I loved Tomoya-Nagisa's relationship.. They just let each other be, while caring for each other, without much drama.. and remain normal after going out together.. loved the proposal :p and their shyness - so realistic :p

Nagisa is also a lovely character.. I like that they didn't keep her on the forefront all the time despite being a main character.

So the scenes about the little girl with her robot friend was Nagisa's idea or imagination all along :) ..it was always mysterious/vague, but always spoke to the heart someway.

Comical scenes in this anime were really enjoyable.. from dango to hitode , even perverted jokes, everytime Akio-Sanae were on-screen, i loved the lighter side of this anime too. The cat that Tomoya-Yuhei own, Botan.. so cute.

What was the ending episode(24 th one) about Tomoya-Tomoyo? I thought it was a dream when the episode began but it seemed like an alternate reality.. I liked it as well TBH :) It felt more serious and mature, like the flashbacks we usually see in other animes, of two lovers who had to part ways on a snowy road or a cherry-blossom scene..

As the series progresses, the world of Clannad becomes dear and personal to us.. I loved the way I felt as I watched the series..

I think I'm forgetting a lot... will come back and write more.. ending this post with this piece of OST, which is one of the best I have ever heard - so magical, emotionally charged, powerful.. My day doesn't start without listening to it, and doesn't end without listening to it. And I cannot listen to it without those feels rushing to me.. at any given time, when I listen to it, it feels like time has stopped...

The entire soundtrack was good, but when this one starts playing during the series...

L, arigato gozaimasu

EDIT --- Opening scene! how did I forget it.. was good..I like Nagisa-Tomoya dynamic how he gives her confidence.. that is shown in the opening scene itself, beautifully

..that beautiful quote/saying by Kotomi.. each time it was repeated, it felt more emotional

hmm, will search for Kyou's episode.. I like stories with alternate endings:) which reminds me of Ryou's dialogues about alternate possibilities and Kotomi's parents' belief and research about countless (harps) realities hidden away in the universe, beauty of life.. all their dialogues and their letter for her were so full of wisdom..

You love Akio-san too?? Will I get to see him in next season? :p

Hai! I'm on my way to watch it..

No no, Sunohara must've slipped away from my lazy brain that was flooded by so many things :p

I loved him.. especially his animated body language :D ..nice character, funny, easygoing, has that youthful curiosity, good-hearted, good friend, is surprisingly serious when it's time to be.. I enjoyed all characters :D

Hmm:)

What are you watching these days??:)

Yuyushiki

This is an anime I watch everytime I want to cheer up :)
Of 12 episodes, is a slice of life comedy anime revolving around 3 high school friends who attend an all-girls high school.

IDK if it'll appeal to everyone or appeal to males, but for me, it does... because I am a very silly person like the characters :p and those characters remind me of my own bestfriends, our conversations/togetherness back in college, we are also a group of 3, and having attended an all-girls college, there's a lot in common :D

The anime shows everyday life of characters, is full of conversations - adorned with puns, silly jokes/antics, lazy wondering and wandering, warmth of friendship... feels so familiar and nostalgic for me:)

There's a hint of lesbianism in this series but having spent three years in an all-girls college, I know that it may not be the case, it's all common for us - however it is sure to confuse the viewer :p

There's nothing in this anime - no romance, no emotional scenes, no nothing - just everyday life of 3 friends - their conversations, time together... a lot like Lucky Star but , way better than Lucky Star for me :) I've lost a count of the number of times I watched entire series..
