Hmmm!! It's said marriage is a three legged race. We all are running our runs like a 100 meter sprint or a marathon at our pace then in this marriage our inside legs are tied together to become the third leg in this three legged obstacle race..

It's not easy to hit sync in terms of pace and steps to move forward from the time boom/ go is heard and as people will watch... there will be enough chances to make mistakes, may be even struggle tumble and then learn from it to sync and work the third leg to its right harmony, this all when people have their eyes on you first few times or years...

No he's no jerk, he has his concerns in the right place , and of course he is responsible for her every wayand her for him but to come out ... I repeat for him to come out of this whole thing leaving people to interpret that he warned her earlier and she doesn't listen or is not doing enough to follow the rules of the House after her explanation is taking it a little too far. I can't say he is a jerk. As Nisha say all her characters are not perfect n flawless.

He is young man who saw his wife in a compromising situation. He is upset with her. Any husband would be. Some of the details he is glossing over - probably assuming since all bhabhis and kids in the house are used to it. He is not able to look at it from her point of view (an independent woman from Delhi).

He doesn't know to handle an upset young woman. He is willing to listen to his bhabhi who seem to have an understanding of Teeku's viewpoint. They were probably in her shoes not too long ago. He is going thru the motions and goes to her room. But internally he is unwilling to let go of the situation. That's why it seems half hearted.

He is a good man put in a spot where he has never been before. He will learn to act smoothly.

Remember he is the youngest one who probably always went to his mommy. He will do that till he figures her out and their relationship.

As for Lakshimi, she is completely from a different school.

* conservative background. She is not Himani. She is in this setup and dealing with official visitors for more than 40 years. She doesn't think there is any other alternative way. Which will make it a little tougher for Teeku to sync up with her mentally.
* Mom - she is not going to analyze Harit's statements. She is going to go with - my son told u so. That's tough luck for any DIL not just Teeku.

As Alka bhabhi mentioned, this is not an earth shattering issue. She will have to learn to take some of these beatings in married life. Just because he scolds you, doesn't mean he cares less. He will prove it to you soon.
