Chellam there's so much I wanted to tell you.. But seriously I don't know how to tell you... 😭 I'm totally tongue-tied. Believe me it's not out of my laziness. I can't go through each and every line but I can tell you how I felt... Throughout the reading I felt the restlessness of what's going to happen next and worried about the things that gone our of their hands, felt helpless and prayed and then amazed at the way somethings went... Uffo... Really I felt all these feelings.. No doubt you're master of getting us involve in your story, forgetting the surrounding and forgetting that It's just another story... Brilliant, Chellam... 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

I don't know vague idea of how Chaupar playing but still I enjoyed that game as if i'm expert in that game. That's what I'm trying to tell you... You can attract us the irons like magnet and tightly hold us throughout the story. Well done, Chellam!! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

Though we're worrying how that messenger unknwngly ratted AKEERA's life but as I writer I think you made a very interesting and brilliant turn of events. That make us keeping in edge and thinking and worrying what's going to happen.. Uffo... You're such a shrewd!! 👏 👏 👏

Wishing you all a happy Hump day and with the update everyone must be super happy !!!

Coudn't finish to read the chapter earlier and only managed to finish the whole chapter undisturbed a little while ago. I wanted to write my suda suda review before I get to read everyone's post which I will have to do tomorrow.

Chaupar

A quick tip - didn't want to get into too much details of the how the game is played. An expert Chaupar player would look at my description and frown. It took me viewings of 4 different videos and 3 websites to sorta understand the game!!!! It's complex with each player having 4 counters... And when 4 play, the opposite players become a team, strategize etc to defeat other pair. When it's only 2 players, they play against one another.

But I had to keep it simple - couldn't go around using terms that readers might not be familiar with or one would lose interest. 😳

So ... (though not entirely true) at the very basic level - ludo is like a basic version of Chaupar... If you've played ludo you'll understand the game as I've described it in the chapter.

By the way Chausar has 3 die (plural of dice) - hence the odd numbers showing up that wouldn't normally show in modern dice.

In spite of all of this, I cannot claim that I wouldn't have made some form of mistake in understanding/outlining the game. Anyway, being the oldest board game in India, over time, several versions of it have developed ... So hopefully, if and where I've gone wrong, it can be construed as a HBAS version of Chaupar!😆

Ustaad and his men always respect everyone ...Mahendra and Khalil never ever able to achieved what ustaad achieved by his gesture .
It's really touching when Sayyid think about dead bodies .
Really it's sin to disrespect someone dead body...they deserve honor.
They are Ustaad's men it show from their thinking only.
