I had one thought... Why they didn't look into each other's eyes while confessing... Even during mt. Abu confession, Naina said it from behind... No eye contact... The cage thing seems to be true. .. They are not free s of now.. Naina has her family to control and soon sameer will be under somani's control... Its a long way to go... Not an easy path at all... A path full of thorns like somani and Rakesh... I had so many mixed emotions while watching the epi... Anyway beautiful post.

Loved your interpretation.That ''I am your world'' thing is the HAQ thing we often discuss.That shield,support thing was the first thing that came to my mind with the first watch but with the second watch...The camera's focus on bars and they lost in each others eyes with smile adorning the faces ...white and pink ...contrast to the deep black of grills...and I didn't feel a positive vive.😕

from the strong malice of society and the 'not-so-well wishers'' of their
lives.They are caged still.The last few minutes of the episode was a faint
reminder of that.

Hi, you may be right in your interpretation. I haven't seen the episode but looking at the pics I can tell, the logic behind showing the confession this way 1) the shyness in there relationship esp at nainas end which is evident from her shying away from Sameer whenever he tries to touch her and not able to look into his eyes. So Sameer had to corner/ cage her so she can at least confess. 2) CVs had to come up with some unique idea as such scene can quickly become cheesy and boring if not handled carefully.
Coming back to your point, considering their age and the orthodox ideas of naina's family the path they are decided to walk on is not going to be an easy one for them. But that's what love is about, to overcome all those challenges and enjoy the ride however bumpy it is as being in love makes you stronger and bolder.

Nice in depth analysis Minu... and what you felt was on the lines of what the vo too pointed out... nothing is perfect and nith8ng comes easy... they have a lot to face and handle before they are together for the entire life... be it family...society or whatever... 😳

nice post as it gives another prospective to the whole confession scene... i take it as though there will be hurdles and barriers Sameer will always be there to protect Naina from all the sides and make her move forward...
