Veer is convinced only bcz shivaay did the disposing of Annika's body at the expense of his family's reputation. And as from Veer's perspective, Shivaay will pick family against anyone including Annika which is wrong as for Shivaay, it's always Annika and family are one. His priorities are set since forced marriage.

Shivaay is playing along with him...unka har baath maan raha hai...abhi bhi doubt nahi aayi veer ko...
