I Don't know why but I am really drawn to this show. Probably because Sajal have been doing excellent shows lately. Also the vast is really promising. So I hope it is not just another show of a sappy love story.

Wow.. Love at first sight..That's what I felt seeing the episode...

❤️

Every character intro was very subtly and beautifully done..

Noor's family is so lovely.. Though that chachi is too loud she's very entertaining and very vocal about everything.. 😉

Noor's sister reminds me of Sidra (Kashaf's) sister in ZGH.. 😉

Khizar is so shockingly fast food banda.. Gotta wait and see how his character is gonna shape up... His mother already looks like a trouble.. 😆

And finally the reason why I watched the episode.. Sajal.. She as Noor impressed me at the first sight just like she impressed Khizar.. 😉 Very crisp and direct in her portrayal of character.. 😳

Overall the episode was very engaging and entertaining.. Looking forward to the unfolding of the show.. 👏

Lastly the OST.. OMG.. So beautiful and soulful.. The music and the singing is wonderfully done👏.. Sounds very familiar though.. Need to dig through my memory to find where is the resemblance of the song...

Fairly typical first epi but Imran as Khizer is ❤️ and Imran and Sajal do look fab together their bits were 👍🏼and the bg score/ost is just love ( reminds me of the song ambarsariya) tho I am not sure if like this typecasting of educated independent girls as those who r faltu mein rude for no reason I dont like this at all if an educated independent Khizer can be polite n polished why not a Noor ?

Your review is on point. @bold Couldn't agree more including the ost reminding of ambarsariya. You always seem to tell my dil ki baat. Hi5 on that 😊

Btw does anybody know the real name of the girl playin Sajal's sister. To me she resembles Drashti Dhami.

For those wondering why Noor is so rude, I think this is how their characters have been written. Sarmad did say on the Morning Show that Noor is not your average girl-next-door. I think this directness and bluntness are part of her personality. Khizer is the softer, more sensitive one among the two. He's also shown as someone more submissive, as can be seen in his conversation with his mom.

Marina Khan <3 - I'm so happy to see her onscreen again .

The chachi, OMG , so over-the-top. Both she and the sister live in some Mills and Boons-style world. Although, they're not totally off the mark in this case.

Imran has done a pretty decent job, and Sajal is fabulous as usual.

I was a little taken aback at how quickly Khizer fell for Noor, I was expecting that to take at least 2-3 episodes. Yahaan to bilkul supersonic speed se chal rahe hain. I think the main focus of the story isn't how they fall in love, but what happens after they get married/elope. So this will be a little rushed in the beginning.

Anyway, a very entertaining first episode. Will have to watch how the story progresses to see how it really is.
