Just back from watching it.

Deepika is the best thing about this movie! She is fabulous!!! Omg she looks breathtaking and I can't imagine anyone else as Padmavati. The last scene was insane.

Ranveer and Shahid are great two barring the fact that ( and this is actually not their fault) the dialogues and situations get repetitive. You begin wondering , as this is based on a poem, how much can they stretch this story and Bhansali does try, yet he should have made it tighjter.

The biggest load is on them as they have most dialogues but I got so impatient after a while. The ranveer Jim chemistry was great to begin with and then it gets annoying as hell. Also the whole rajput are great lecture is overkill. Again I don't blame the actors they literally did the best they were given with!

Some really impactful scenes nevertheless and I'm sure this movie is going to go places.

But is this the highest? I don't think even any Hrithik starrer made that much on one day. So, Ranveer is now in the biggies' league?

From this place all the credit will goto Shahid Kapoor. Who has yet to even do any film that crosses 100 crore 😆😆😆

I read Krrish 3 made 30 + crore on one of its days but that whole films box office is very 😆😆😆

Are you giving Shahid and DP no credit? Are you calling it a Ranveer movie?

Ok checked Besharam and Judwaa2, both did not make this much.

Is it DP's Star power or Ranveer or is it simply that the hype has pushed people into the theater. I would think that the hype followed by deepika followed by Ranveer.

Evn though i love Veer the truth is its d controversy that bought numbers nt actors,jus like adhm.
Film was soo boring that i almost fell asleep oopar dp ki athrangi dialogue delivery
Film would have fell flat n it would have been d biggest disaster without d controversy, now ppl are rebelling against sena atleast i did warna i would never watch a slb mov in theatre!

I haven't watched the movie yet. But the people around me are saying DP had nothing to do in the whole movie, she looked gorgeous, that's all. And since DP fans had pledged to watch the movie FDFS, so whoever wanted to watch that movie for DP has already watched it yesterday. So I'll give credit to her for yesterday's collection that is 17 Cr. Today, everyone flocked to the theaters for Khalnayak of this decade Khilji. And Khalnayak was Sanju Baba's hit, not Madhuri's.

Re: Shahid 😆 The guy has been getting trolled since yesterday. Take pity on that poor guy.

And be practical, success is always the male lead's, and failures often the female lead's. Un-written rule.

Did you forget that there are two other stars in the movie? I just watched the movie and I can tell you that a lot of folks will watch the movie just for her- she was breathtakingly beautiful and stunning in each and every frame...The scenes that she was in, were pure joy to watch!
