Oddly though, he dint quite understand the secrecy that his sister maintained over the topic of Khushi, or anything they talked about, in front of Aman. However, not wanting to delve deeper into his observation, or a misplaced reading, he let that go.

It could certainly not be the figment of her imagination, the way he had pinned her down with an unwavering stare, refusing to back down, as he shamelessly ran his eyes over her semi-clad back and uncovered legs, his lips turning slyly while the mirth glinted peculiarly in his eyes, because all that she saw, was all for real too... She turned to look at Lavanya who now stood next to the single couch which was occupied by a man whose back was facing her. And it didnt take a genius to know who it was. With her heart thudding in her chest, she took an involuntary step back just as he stood up and turned around to face her.

Whoever said that the breaking of a heart was accompanied with a deafening silence, clearly didnt know anything about a heartbreak.
