Right!;From start it was evident, whom they are favouring and trying to make him hero, which he is definitely not in real.
Vikas made a new record of breaking major rules of the show yet reached to this stage.
Most of the tasks were created to revolve around a certain player to portray him as a master mind but his over smartness failed him in several tasks. They brought Shilpa in the show as a scapegoat thinking that he can use her as his punching bag but they misjudged her. She is very strong and came out as a genuine & very positive person with so many good qualities that despite of their selective editing, she became one of the most popular and loved contestants of all seasons.
Initially he tried what he is master in by ganging up with others to isolate and bullied her, but in return got the taste of his own medicine. His simple funda is to instigate her first and play victim on her reactions (like.. for example, he did the same on Arshi's eviction but when Shilpa was explaining her point of view, he didn't want to listen and as usual backkbitched Shilpa on her offering Christmas gift to Arshi).
When Vikas was in jail, they aired selectively edited promos of Shilpa teasing him. They collected few shots and showed it like it is happening for whole day.
Then he escaped from there and tried a 'fake attempt' to escape from the house when Shilpa was actually gone to sleep and didn't come back to trouble him while he was roaming out there waiting for her to come, so he can play victim again.
They didn't telecast that infamous Voot video 'Hina on fire', where he was equally involved in ganging up and bullying. They hid Shilpa and Gauhar Khan's conversation. These are just few examples of how he is being favoured many times by creatives.
When plan A didn't work and outside information keeps coming that people are liking and loving Shilpa very much, he compromised (fake) with her using sugar coated words. But keeps talking bad about her mostly behind her back, facing cameras and sometimes in front of her while laughing cunningly, which she was taking sportingly until she realized his vicious game.😈
