I love the young Behroze and Ruhi, when they fought for their love and how they faced difficulties to stay together. How they built their life from scratch. Behroze and Ruhi shared a great chemistry.

Young Behroze is the kind of male lead I like. Not the typical AYM, and not someone who is reticent and gives up easily. The in-between who can fight for love and work hard, and who is a die-hard romantic.

I liked Zaroon too (from Zindagi Gulzar Hai) but he was a male chauvinist 🥱. I loved Kashaf!

I didn't see young Behroze and Ruhi as selfish though. They tried their best with their families but it didn't work out. Agha Jaan held his pride more dear than his son.

Anyways, 20 years later Behroze and Ruhi changed a lot.

But the youth phase of Behroze and Ruhi was amazing. They faced a lot of difficulties. They lost their first child, they were shunned by their families. Its not like they were having a gala time.

But I liked how they emerged stronger facing all their difficulties.

If I ever fall in love, I would want a relationship like young Behroze and Ruhi. There is a lot to admire there.❤️

As for being selfish I dunno, I hate parents trying to force their kids a/c to their wishes. From the smallest of things like choosing a stream to choosing a career to choosing life partner.

Maybe 'cos I'm a rebel or maybe 'cos I've seen the ill effects of parents forcing kids to their bidding. Forcing kids to study engineering to forcing kids to marry someone who is not of their choosing. Both can have disastrous consequences.

Also, you didn't like Zaroon and Kashaf?!?!? I love them (with their flaws). They are one of my fav OTPs.

Remember the time when om had accidentally taken that babaji ki booti, i had imagined all sorts of things that could have happened 😆

no i liked zaroon and kashaf but they both equally frustrated me at times😆 loved the supporting cast they added great things to the show and no one was perfect and it was not a perfect life.
