Hahahaha Anne he was good in a few films. I think he did well.

Pom: Depends on how much you can spend/family. I've attended all sorts of weddings, from a few Lakhs to many Crores.

They were then firmly promoting barun sobti as the face of the IPK franchise, and promoting Sanaya and use her Khushi popularity would hamper the prospect of that show as the ArShi fanbots were mad over that show already.
The problem with DT and Dahiya's win was exactly what you said-overexposure.
People like to see underdogs win, they want to see the talented people win.
I know DT and Dahiya worked hard as much as they could- but positioning them as winners from early on made viewers mad at them
They instead wanted to see AbhiNam, Brent-Ashka or even MonAya win.
DT has no charm-its the writers whom I have to credit for Ishimaa.
KP never had charm and looks like a monkey.
He only gets hyped because he was Jeetendra's toyboy .
Lip Sync battle had Farah Khan and that Ali asgar doubling up both as judges and hosts .
Concept wise, TED talks is actually way better than Satyamev Jayate and I like SRK too but who are going to be inspired from people like Ekta kapoor and karan johar?

I agree, Urmi. Star has a poor understanding of the viewership market. I agree. IPK3 was a big mistake. They just blew a shit ton of money on it. Then now money promoting it. Then again to make it a hit.

The connections were terrible, tbh. That's what I'm saying. Star is terrible per se. Weak and not ruthless as they want to be seen. They practically get bossed around by their actor PR. Which channel gets bossed around like this? They fake zero tough calls and all that rubbish. Star officials are also in cahoots with these PR people for moolah and are ruining the brand.

Exactly. No one wanted to see Dahiya win. Even if they deserved it. No one I know even voted for them. Votes were either for Abinam or Monaya. Abinam also played their cards well. Post win, they posted mean comments but ended up signing the same agency. Everyone knew Dahiya were going to win. It was obvious from episode 1. Shit got serious when all fandoms started criticizing them. Then these people posted anti Monaya content, celebrities themselves started supporting their fandom and urging them to bash Monaya. When a celebrity accuses a Co contestant, s**t shames and body shames them, it's the lowest of lows. Sanaya made a mistake by lashing out against the corner DT PR put against her. Sealed all chances of Star launching her as winners. And it was obvious anyway. People showed up with their baraat and all.

If Star has to sign Sanaya for IPK3, use Nach to promote and then use semi finale and finale accordingly with then rooting or Barun rooting, they would have had a hit. Gul is disgusting. Bas.

I know I'll get hate for this. But DT plays herself. She was wonderful as Ishita initially. But the minute her role changes she can't handle it. She was terrible when given other characters in the show. But as I say I'm accustomed to subtle acting, not obvious loud one. And Indian tv requires loud acting. So I don't know.

KP was cute pre 7:30 slot. And he was cute in a cure gunji guy way. God know what bugged him to gain. He has a chicken body now. Ugh. That's another story.

Lip Sync Battle was a horror story.

Ted talks I'm not impressed by. I like my app or podcasts.
