But nowadays all shows are about one chindi couple's sex life.

That's why my granny nowadays finds Doraemon better

At least it is mildly interesting compared to the nonsensical romance shows and the chindi jodis around whom these shows revolve😃

@urmi- I think TV now tries to combine romance+saas bahu stuff to get both audiences- like YRKKH, Swaragini, YHM, Kundali, Kumkum Bhagya etc.

Sounds interesting.

Even JA and CAS had fake story but from the perspective of their timelines , the things they showed in the show was possible in real life

At least in the beginning few months.

But yeh Porus...pehle episode se hi fake stuff dikhana start kiya.

And the sad fact is that, there is zero believability in whatever they're showing.

Atleast in case of other historicals (Chandra Nandini excluded) you could at least believe that this things may have happened in life.

But Porus looks like fantasy fairytale instead.

And they've also unnecessary blown off money in stuff that would probably cost them less.

I got bored at the middle of last week after Rati Pandey's attempt to cut Aditya redij's hair got stretched to 3 f**king episodes and didn't return to watch the last 2.

I know we are proclaiming it a shit show, but people in the forum are hanting and panting why Porus doesn't get more trps 😆

Yeah Mughle azaam is a new historical show to be produced by Anirudh Pathak for Colors but I know even that will be shitty

Fake Greek accent by Sikander's mom and manghadat kahaniya masquerading as historical 'fiction'.

Anyway, when is Puru scheduled to grow up?

Lakshya is cute so I might watch if I like his jodi.

Also nowadays, the romantic shows are heavily dependant on 3rd person/ super negative villains to sustain itself.

The days of classy romantic dramas like Kahin toh Hoga where the story were driven forward by Sujal and Kashish are truly gone.

IMO, shows depend on family drama for the TRP junta and romance for the online jodi fans. It certainly helps when shows like YRKKH have rabid Kaira fans who keep the flat flying high.

I find Laksh unattractive so planning to skip his parts

The problem with Siddharth Kumar Tewary (Porus producer) is that he preaches moral science excessively and also he tries to. Project his "fictional(read fake)" stories as the most authentic version instead of a simply dramatised and fictionalised version of mythology/history.

I have a hard time completing his shows.

@BOLD- Exactly that's what I disliked too- stop trying to act like you're adhering to history. It's highly dishonest and misleading.

Porus will flop and that will serve him right. It's on Sony so I don't see it getting ratings.
