Our posts getting deleted is very sad and irritating.. I've experienced it few times.

Pls use MS word to save long posts and then copy paste here, Patti.

Good night and sweet dreams!

No, He is clad in blue, a noble stud!
Relaxing with his Sherbat in the sun,
A tete-a-tete with his Begum is super fun,
With his Begum Sahiba sitting opposite him,
Her coyness and shy smile flowing to the brim!
But He knew and caught her furtive theft,
of being in his room and before she left,
Her hair on his pillow left a warm fuzzy feel,
He realised her heart is no more of cold steel,
It has thawed to him and his presence,
It looks forward to a feel of pleasance!
Being caught by him she did not bow down,
She faced him with defiance but without a frown!
He asked her about her time in the evening,
She answered jovially her lessons in receiving,
From his best man so far in Chaupar,
He, in turn, invited her to the game at par,
Playing with him to show her tricks,
His Begum has picked with her dice sticks,
In conversing, he came to know, she is Seventeen,
Her Birthday came and went in between,
He was not there to celebrate and wish her so,
Now he wished her from his heart at get-go,
a loving, joyful, heartwarming wish,
That filled her within, cosily in a bliss!
She thanked him for that warm, generous feel,
He hoped she liked his gifts and their appeal,
She knew not he had sent her awaited gifts,
Immediately her young mind to those drifts,
Seeing her so he said she can go and look,
She went to see what gifts did he undertook;
To present her after his prolonged trip,
Seeing two boxes her eager heart skip,
She opened the smaller one to find,
a treasure to cherish, it is one of a kind!
It was an ivory framed magnifying lens,
Helping her see a lot bigger times tens!
She was thrilled to see his thoughtful gift,
Next, her gaze to the mid-size box shift!
She opened to find a magical toy,
It brings things closer - what a joy!
Later she found a scroll hidden inside,
She opened and read the letter with pride,
He said it is a binocular that she can use,
to discover, explore and study in profuse -
the world around her making it beautiful,
as She does always excitedly in plentiful!
She felt brimming with joy and happiness,
May her abundant joy form into togetherness!
In her happiness, He wanted a share and to drown,
He was eager to see the invisible wall going down!

The wall that kept them miles apart
Though they were quite near
The wall that chained her fluttering heart
With doubts and baseless fear

Her bliss and peace at the barrier's fall
Showed Lashy's magical flair
His joy at the first cracks in the wall
Was lovely beyond compare.

Lovely Lines Lana.👏

Periyamma... from now on... like a strict niece... I shall put my foot down and ask you everytime you post one of these bigger posts/poems... to make sure you've typed everything either in google drafts or in the later versions of MS word.😊

Both have back up options even if the computer crashes.

Imagine me typing 10,000 words directly here and losing it... it'd make me so sad I'd go dig a hole somewhere and stay there for 10 days 😒 away from the cruel world!

I do know how it feels though... 🤗because a few times while making these complicated edits, the website hangs and there's no way for me to save that work and I have ended up losing 5-6 hours...sometimes even 2 days of work!

But much as its frustrating, sleep over it, Periyamma... and do not be sad... 🤗
One as creative as you can whip up a similar (if not the same) set of 8x5 lines (if you wish, that is) tomorrow! I'm sending something through the genie on the magic carpet for you...
Image result for hug to make you feel better

Ms.Chellam Holmes, can you find me the links please?😃

Lashy, the Dronacharya angle was probably in my zehen all the time. Probably that is why i never found AMK guilty for Khalil and couldn't accept Heera's anger justified completely. For deception, yes. He deserved censure from her as he took advantage of her trust in him. But for Khalil's action. No. Teachers are not responsible for every student's disposition and action. Nor are parents for their child's. Where they failed they deserve to be blamed. But not for the subsequent applications of their principles.

My views for Part 1 -pending still. Will google for the choicest words before I do that. 😆

Sandhya... you and I can be objective about it since it does not directly involve our first families. But once your own loved ones get involved, you'd have to be a saint to accept someone from the enemy camp day 1 with open arms.
I am certain Heera would be objective about it too - had it been a third person in reference.

Besides, there is still a fundamental difference between Dronacharya and Ustaad.

Ustaad actively recruits generals for a tyrant's army knowing these armies are to going to be used for violence to thwart/frighten rebels/enemies you name it. Dronacharya was a general guru who taught the brothers since they were kids to educate them as a whole.

Also, after the canal meeting - had she straightaway known that this was Khalil's mentor who hates Khalil almost as much as she does, I'm certain Heera wouldn't have harboured much negativity.
The entire rage came because he hid it all along, knew she was falling for him/fell for her - and then, BAM all of this truth came at once and in ways that only an antaryaami can unravel. These facts were all mixed with the reality like oil in water. They're separate and yet cannot be separated.

Having said that, Heera has not once (apart from that first face-off) actually blamed him for what happened to her sister. Not even in her thoughts. She realised the truth quite early on - that Ustaad is a more morally-sound wing of the Shehzaade and Khalil a disgustingly rotten apple.
I think it was more of a subconscious barrier [a moral obligation towards her sister maybe?] (rather than an actual blame) that kept her at a distance, I'd think. 😊

Which is why she first visits her jiji's painting. Almost like seeking her approval and blessings before starting on this new phase of life 'acceptance'
