Hello guys I am back with new chapter and let me tell you it's a big chapter and is a bit special ( you will see why) and I know I took long time but can't help I had my exams and they are again starting from Monday so I thought to post it now

CHAPTER 9

Sonakshi reached the golden feather Avenue. She went to the receptionist to ask where she was supposed to go. The receptionist told her to go to the lift as Elena was waiting for her. When Sona spotted Elena she went upto her and asked,

"Hii Eli! Yeh sab kisne plan kiya?

"Wow Sona, you look...stunning.
"Well thank you for the dress as well as for this party

"Dress ke liye toh thik hai par party ka half credit kisi aur ko jata hai "Kise? Maa-Baba ko?

"Woh tu samajh jayegi. Abhi upar chal

"Achha baba aa rahi hoon

They both enter into the lift and go to the terrace. There Sonakshi is stunned to see the decorations.

There is a stage decorated with Sona's favourite white jasmine flowers. And the rest of the place is decorated with blue flowers and curtains.She meets her parents.

"Happy Birthday Sona

"Thank you Maa-Baba. Yeh sab aap logon ne kiya?

"Nahi'

"Toh phir kisne kiya?

Now Elena replied,

"Arey Sona, party humne nahi arrange ki, and I don't think tere koi ex-boyfriends hai so obviously Dev jiju ne arrange ki

Sona's eyes shot open on hearing his name,

"Kya! dev ne arrange ki. Oh achha toh woh tum log ghanton phone pe lage rahte the woh isliye?

"haan

"Par Dev hai kahaan?

Just when she asked about Dev he entered from behind her and said,

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONA

Sona was shocked will be an understatement.

"Dev!...um..um..Thank you

"So how is the surprise?

"It's Awesome!

While they did their small talk, Elena went up the stage and made announcement for the birthday girl to come to the stage, so Sona have to unwillingly leave Dev and come to the stage. She cuts the cake and everyone started clapping. Now it was time for some gifts, everyone wished Sonakshi and gave her gifts. First her parents gifted her a golden chain and she took their blessings. Soon everyone was done with the gifts and now it was Dev's turn to gift. He went to Sona and gave her the gift, it was a velvet box, she opened it and found a platinum ring in it. While she was observing how beautiful the ring was, Dev kneeled down and proposed to her,

"You made my life worthful. Its a boon to have you in my life. And I really love you. Will you marry me Miss Bose? Plz give me a chance to make you Mrs. Dixit from Ms. Bose

The whole crowd was cheering for Sonakshi to say Yes', but she didn't seem to bother about them, she was just looking into Dev's glittering eyes with teared eyes. Well after sometime she said,

"YES! I love you too. And I would love to be Mrs. Dixit.

Dev stood up and inserted the ring in Sona's ring finger and while doing so he whispered sexily with his husky voice in her ear,

"Arey yaar don't start with water works now

To which Sona could only blush. Elena also came prepared so she had brought Sona a ring which she inserted in Dev's finger.

After the engagement, Dev took Sona in one of the hotel rooms for a private talk, so he informed Elena and went straight to the room.

In the room, Sona thanked Dev for such a wonderful gift.

"Thank you Dev. Aaj tak mere liye itna achha surprise kisine plan nahi kiya. Thank you so much.

"Oh yeh bhi koi bolne waali baat hai, special insaan, special gift hi dega na...waise mujhe mera return gift chahiye afterall itni tayari jo ki hai.

"Bolo kya gift chahiye?

"Bolu...?

"Haan

"Jo bolunga woh pakka dogi?

"Haan

"Pakka?

"Haan baba pakka

"Then I want...

while leaning closer he said,

"A kiss

"K...K...Kya

"Maine kaha A Kiss'.

" Dev...dekho abhi yaha par saare mehmaan aaye hai aur mujhe sab se milna padega toh mujhe jane do isse pehle ki koi yaha aa jaye.

"Tumhe abhi bhi mehmaanon ki Padi hai jabki maine tumhe yeh ( pointing towards the ring) anguthi pehnake tumhe jeevan bhar sehane ka faisla liya hai.

"Oh toh ab tum mujhe sahoge waise sehana bhi chahiye aakhir kar maine bhi toh tumhe kitna saha hai aur toh aur saare insults ko bhi saha hai

Sona bit her tongue for saying this as it was a very sensitive topic about their past and Dev became very silent and broke their eye contact and looked down after listening this and the atmosphere changed from naughty & romantic to serious. An uncomfortable silence spread in the room and finally Sona decided to break the ice,

"Dev...yahaan dekho (making him look her in eye) I am sorry mujhe iss topic ke baare mein abhi nahi baat karni chahiye thi, itne khushi ke mohol mein ab sab sad-sad ho gaya I am sorry. Pata nahi mera muh har wakt galat samay pe kyun khul jata hai. Chalo chodo yeh sab aur chalo sab log humara intezaar kar rahe honge.

" Tumne galat bhi kya kaha, hum chahe jitna bhi sweet couple hone ka natak karle par humare beech yeh kadwahat hamesha rahegi

" Dev aisi baat nahi hai aur hum kabse sweet couple hone ka natak karte hai coz mai toh tumse sachha pyar karti hoon and you don't worry agar tumne mere saath woh nahi kiya hota, jo tumne college mein mere saath kiya toh mein aaj yahaan nahi hoti, ek independent aur self confident woman nahi hoti so plz don't blame yourself. Jo hua acche keliye hua.

" Par isse sach bad...

Before he could complete Sona slammed her soft petals over his rough one's and immediately after sensing her lips on his Dev's eyes widened and then he also gave in to the kiss. It was a very comforting kiss for both of them. Slowly Dev hands wandered over Sona's nape and he angled her face for better access. After some time, their passionate kiss was disturbed by a ringing of sona's phone so they had to break their kiss. Both parted and rested their foreheads on each other's. Sona picked the call, it was from her mother,

" Haan maa bolo

" Arey Sona tu kaha hai yaha sab log tera aur Dev ka intezaar kar rahe hai dinner keliye, jaldi aaja tu

" Haan maa Mai woh bas Dev ko thanks bol rahi thi. Abhi aayi.

" Haan haan pata hai tum logon ka thanks. Hum bhi kabhi jawan the. Chal ab phone rakh aur aaja jaldi

Sona was blushing on the comment her mother made on their kiss, she hung up the phone and told Dev,

"Dev hume chalna chahiye, maa ka phone tha, woh boli ki sab log humara intezaar kar rahe hai

Dev opens the door for Sonakshi and says,

"Ladies first.

Sona just laughed at his antiques and walked out of the room and then they both went to the dining hall together. Everyone greeted them and then they eat talking about various issues about their marriage.

Meanwhile Dev was just staring Sonakshi and she signaling him with her eyes to stop staring her, but de doesn't budge. Elena notices this and says,

" Kya Jiju kitna stare karoge humari Sona ko kahi nazar lag gayi toh

Sonakshi blushes but Dev is on his full on naughty mood,

" Apno ki Nazar nahi lagti saali Sahiba

This time Sonakshi is the colour of tomato.
