and yes i agree that Barun is a brand, I had an argument many moons ago with a dementor on the forum, about Barun being a brand

and the reason is a brand is inspite of the kind of a start to the episodes we had, IPK still opened to 1.3 TRP in the first week. Which show has ever opened to such a brill start tell me pillleaseee.

TBH had they stuck to the dark story and stood by what they believed the TRP would have eventually risen, but PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE and SP is definitely lacking it.

Even if you have all the right ingredients, one will still have to wait for the food to cook, no one can fasten the cooking process itself. but with SP i think they as instant results. Hence why the channel is going down the drain. They need to revamp the content instead of competing with other channels.

Give something idiffenret, set a different bar, so that people will automatically be drawn towards whatever it is that they dish out. What is the point of competing, just pursue what you believe in and the results will automatically speak for itself.

But WRT Barun i just wish he gets a good show, I am glad he movie is doing well and hope the sequel does see the day of light.

Oh the other thing i wanted to say is I will say in another post 😆

SP needs to sit down and think about what the viewers want. Viewers tastes are changing, not many want to watch saas bahu anymore .

Maybe it is time to bring in shows that run in seasons, maybe its time for a run for limited series, Maybe SP needs to change the game plan and do something totally different and totally out of the box.

I loved the way Saurabh called Barun a brand - Brand Barun Sobti. This is someone who has never worked with him but still respects him and talks about him in such high regard. Mahek was getting 0.8/0.9 TRPs but over time it started to get its audience. Even after it got the numbers the PH and the producer acknowledging Barun as a Brand - That shows what other PHs who have never worked with him also know his value. And the most important thing is even after working with certain someone in RR Saurabh never talks about that show's leads - wonder why. 😲

Barun is deffo a brand, Juhi and I were talking abt the same thing, that on this CC are, most of the CC's are dedicated to Barun and some of them are quite old, inspite of the fact that he has been away from action for more than five years. Phir bhi so many CC's including our one is dedicated to him. I guess that it itself speaks about the kind of brand that he is.
