Is it mentioned anywhere, whether Gauri would tell Om the reason why she is marrying Ajay? She should be telling him, but if she is worried about Richa's reputation, then she would simply say, "it is too late now" and Ajay could have blackmailed her again (before Om reaches there).
Coz, as I see it, if she tells Om why she is marrying Ajay, then he can solve that issue in minutes by claiming Gauri is his wife and he is not ready to free her from this relation and can go on to threaten with legal charges, which would leave Gauri technically helpless and blameless. Ajay will not be able to blackmail her, and Gauri get's herself removed from the whole equation. That doesn't need 10 days on the Obros and Obahus to sort the marriage issue. So, most probably, on the night before the wedding, we might get a completely broken anguished RiKara and Gauri finally tells Om, why she is doing what she is doing, and Om comes up with a plan to save her. So, that could happen or they are able to get the marriage cancelled, and the 10 days is to convince Gauri to go back to OM.
