Unless Heera accepts him for who he is (however long it takes) like he has accepted her, his ego/heart/mind/nature will not allow him to bring down that wall. That is who he is. (I told you being stubborn/self-respecting was one of his faults😉)
He will never blame her for not accepting Ustaad. He understands the Ustaad-Khalil-Durga Bai wounds are still hurting.
But till she at least shows a willingness to start understanding or a willingness to know about that part of his life more, he will not make a move. Like her wounds about her sister are a dark part of his life, his childhood is a raw/dark/vulnerable part of his life - and that is how humans who're more guarded about letting their emotions show, generally are! All the more men who've always been expected to have a strong exterior!

Btw, gentle-o-gentleman wouldn't have even gazed at his wife like he did in the morning... or indulged in that bit of pleasure where he let her hand stay on his chest, even though he knows she hasn't kept it there knowingly! 😉 By his standards, that was a little devilish.

I agree that Heera and AMK are thawing to each other and it is a slow process. I only meant that as his co-worker i will try to add more Jalalishness to AMK.

Of course he is getting more devilish by his standards, but his standards are in kindergarten levels. It sounds all romantic and dreamy because of Lashy's Magic Quill.

How will my poor Heera show more willingness or eagerness to know/understand the Ustaad in him, when a part of the wedding bargain/terms was that she wouldn't question/interfere in his professional life. Yes. He knows she loves him. He did at the hilltop too, but her 'Don't force me' made him retract her wholehearted acceptance. Had she not refused then, he would have proceeded further. Now she has exhibited her comfort levels in his arms. Only if HE reveals his complete Ustad-ness and nature of work to her can he judge if she has accepted that part of him as well wholeheartedly.

Sandy only if you knew AMK can be in University but he is choosing to be in Kindergarten!! And I am fine with that!! Look at this way, if everything happens now, what will remain of HBAS??? I want it to continue forever!! Wish it was true!! Anyway let them take baby steps, in fact, let them be at preschool! 😉🤣 I love this stage of a relationship, a little touch, little nothings, those eyelocks, little shy smiles, the first kiss, the first hug, the first ride...let them enjoy this phase and in the process let us enjoy and celebrate them!! 😉😆 Yes, yes, yes, I am selfish!! 😆
